So it's not exactly a real-time RST. Unlike most strategy games of the RTS ilk ie Starcraft and C&C, the player has control over where they play in the timeline of a game, can jump backwards and forwards through time, send units through time etc.

It sounds complex but apparently playtesters have picked up the game very quickly (minutes according to the wiki page).

There are vidoe's on Youtube which show basic graphics. I suppose they're getting the mechanics solid before making it look pretty. But I'd love to get my hands on the beta just to play it no matter how poor it looks.

Quantum Zerg Rush???

As I understand it, you could theoretically stomp out the enemy command center back at the beginning of the match when nothing has been created by sending a force back for an epic win.

So to make sure your own base doesn't get snuffed out while its first setting up back in time, one should send an army back to defend it.

This is going to make things interesting especially for players of the Rush/Turtle variety. I imagine a single match could span days until someone breaks the lines.

This is Peter, I just can't be bothered to log out of Droo's account.

While you can send an army back as far as possible, it costs chronoenergy to command units 'out of time' and the further back it is, the more energy an order uses up. So you'd only be able to issue a few commands to the units you've sent back. And further, there's a delay on the changes in the past affecting the present, allowing the defended to respond to the alterations.
