I've just been food shopping. I'm home alone for two weeks, and my only mode of transportation is a bicycle; the nearest shop is about five miles away. There are a few basics in - some frozen stuff, ingredients for bread making, potatoes, pasta; that sort of thing. I've just cycled in to get some essentials: here's apparently what my mind thinks was missing from the cupboards -

An iceberg leuttice << leuttice is probably spelled wrong.
12 rashers of bacon
2 packs of pork an apple sausages
Ham
Marmite
2 packs of vanilla cheesecake mix (75p each!!)
3 bottles of Bulmers Cider
Vodka

Lets just say the ensemble weighed a significant portion of my bodyweight, and made cycling up and down hills somewhat entertaining. Also, I had the powerful urge to urinate the entire trip. Not a pleasant experience. >_<

Hah. I'm not hungover, but I'm coming down with a cold which is the next worst thing after drinking. I didn't get lucky, but then, I wasn't out to get lucky, just have an awesome time. At that I succeeded. Getting lucky can wait. :)

I was drinking Strongbow cider like it was water yesterday, so that's a pretty good one.

I have a perfectly good excuse for being hungover today, last night we were playing a drinking game and at one point I had to down the Shit Mix. It's a pint glass sat at the centre of the table which, during the course of the game, is filled up with various portions of everyone's drink. Last night people were drinking beer, bitter, cider, blue WKD, and various combinations of brandy, vodka, and malibu with coke, lemonade and lime or blackcurrant.

One of the lads felt that this wasn't enough and for the icing on the cake put a tea bag in there, too. Nice...

No, look, I got this one.

Droo. Supernatural is about these two brothers who go out and hunt paranormal things. There's a decent amount of brotherly bickering, which gets really funny, but the best part is that these two guys hook up with hot chicks by the dozens. I mean, in one episode, Amy Acker of "Angel" fame is in the bathtub naked. Then she has to get saved from the bathtub, still naked. You can't deny the awesome of that.

After wandering out of the shower and getting dressed - plain white shirt, off-white pajama pants - I was wandering around the house doing bits and pieces, talking to myself, as I seem to when the place is empty. Caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror, and my only thought was: "Huh. I guess I'm the white ranger today."
