Japan went and got themselves the first life-size Gundam ever made. This 60 foot tall Gundam RX-78-2 replica was built by Bandai to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ‘Mobile Suit Gundam’ anime series.

It can actually kick your ass... if it falls on you. ;)

Its one of those odd this that should seem really, really lame, and yet is awesome beyond words. I should mock them for their strange and innapropriate use of so much money, but damn: I want one. :|
