Shadows of the Republic - Characters needed

What?

The Jedi are given an assignment to investigate possible senatorial connections to an alleged slavery ring. The thread would be of a more covert character, set in some of the more exotic worlds of the Outer Rim as well as Coruscant.

When?

Somewhere early in 22BBY. So if you have characters of the suitable age that fit the story, feel free to join.

Who?

Both Jedi and non-Jedi characters welcome. Just be mindful this is the time of the Old Republic, so lay easy on them Sith Lords... :lol

Why?

The ultimate purpose of this thread is to show inner corruption that crippled democracy and consequently lead to formation of Empire after the Clone Wars. The aim is to show how deep the roots of decadence have permeated through the society... There would be hardly anybody left to trust.

How many?
I am limiting this to four people to keep things tidy and posts flowing.
So, Tionne and her student Klo-Ude...and two others.

Well, I could provide either Fionn Halcyon or Berit Selkie - both Jedi Knights, by that time. And I've got Remon Jore, who's a Jedi Master, and Taman Danar, who is a member of the Jedi Exploration Corps (not a Jedi, and she's only 14 or 15 or so at this point)

Hey, so... This seems to be bigger than just 1 thread, and it seems that I made a character who is part of it without even realizing it.

Suggestion: How about you make a graphic to add into the Roleplaying Tags. Make it something like SOTR in the Star Wars font with the "Rise of the Empire" era graphic embedded (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Eras).

Just a thought. :)

That's a neat idea. Usually we have just pre-faced threads in a certain timeline with whatever year they are taking place in, but if there is a big demand for Republic-era icon.. it could be done, I'm sure.

Unfortunately, Mara's computer has exploderized, so odds are her characters won't be able to get involved. And I think Klo-Ude is having some weird thing called a "life" at the moment, so he may not be around either. :(
