The Hangover

Did anyone else catch this over the weekend? Easily the funniest movie I've seen this year and quite possibly in a long long time.

Not terribly dirty, some bad language but nary a nudity shot until very late but the jokes and sight gags were non-stop and these guys played off each other so well.

It was a pretty simple premise but one of the funniest parts to me was the classroom scene with the Tasers and the sick pleasure the big cop was getting after the kids shocked them. The "showdown" between the bearded one and the kid he kicked was awesome

Also the only movie I've seen where the entire audience stayed for most of the credits...

It was hilarious. I saw it at a movie theater that serves beer. That only added to the affect.

I normally don't go see comedies in the theater, because I figure there's nothing lost by waiting until DVD. It's not like there's any major visual special effects or things like that that need to be seen on a big screen to appreciate. BUT I've been thinking very seriously about making an exception in the case of this movie...it looks freaking hilarious. That baby is just too cute! :D

Saw it and really enjoyed it. Definitely one of the funnier movies I've seen in quite a while. Naughty, politically incorrect, slightly vulgar at times but never vile...I can totally understand why it's become the sleeper hit of the summer so far!

The taser scene left me laughing so hard I was just about crying! :lol

We saw it last night - HILARious! :lol Our showing was pretty close to sold out too, and the one before ours was full.

The crowd I was with was small but vocal. There was a lot of laughing and clapping at the end, especially after seeing the photo montage :lol.

I've seen adverts for this on the side of buses.. I don't know if it's out yet tho. Maybe the rest of Europe will get it soon?
