Quote of the Day! This is something I have shamelessly aped from Wookieepedia, but why the hell not? I'm still playing around with the code and basically test-running it for now, but if it turns out to be something people like, it will stick around.

If you'd like to contribute a future Quote of the Day, you can either:

a) Send it to me in a Private Message, or...
b) Add it yourself by visiting the Archive (http://www.sw-fans.net/wiki/index.php?title=SW-Fans:Quote_of_the_Day/Archive), selecting one of the dates that appears in red text ('blue' dates already have a quote) and then use the following templates:

Quotes don't have to be pieces of dialogue - they could also be parts of a post that you found amusing, dramatic or otherwise entertaining. Any confusions or questions, feel free to ask in this here thread. Otherwise, have fun quoting and self-promoting!

Is two lines of dialogue the maximum, or can we continue repeating the |Name|Text|Name|Text|Name|Text|Context pattern for more lines than that?

I think you can have more than two lines of dialogue, yes. Try it and find out ;)

EDIT: Turns out I need to upload more templates for ^ to work, but I'll do that now so you can have more than two lines :)

I removed the template from the front page because it was very difficult to keep up to date - realistically you need hundreds and hundreds of quotes already stored up, or to have someone willing to add a new quote everyday.
