He actually lived in Ontario for 5 years while filming Kung Fu The Legend Continues. :(

I'm old enough that I watched David Carradine on Kung Fu every week. The word "cool" is way overused nowadays, but you know what? He really was cool. The epitome of cool. I was surprised to hear that he was 72, because there was always an air of something like immortality about him. Plus a great deal of sexy.

From what I've been reading throughout the day, this may turn out to have not been an intentional act...could have been a terrible accident, quite possibly autoerotic asphyxiation gone wrong. But regardless of the reason, this is crummy. Absolutely, painfully crummy. The loss is tremendous.

I have already pulled out my Kill Bill DVDs, because a memorial viewing is in order over the next few days.

RIP, Grasshopper :cry.

Otherwise known as the choking game...I had a co-worker lose her 15-year-son that way last year :(.

In the Carradine case, it's getting murkier. I watched some of Larry King's show last night...everyone was very dismissive of the suicide possibility, and his agent flatly said foul play was involved. So there may be more of this story to come.
