It's pretty awesome and generally funnier than FYAD but FYAD is hysterical if you accept that the people there are more interested in being surreal than anything else. However the funniest stuff on SA has originated from FYAD. It's just all very raw and frightening to some people. FYAD = Fuck You and Die for those of you don't know.

I am about to reprogram the Autronic SM4, using the M5 section to get rid of the ALG and then adjust the IDS and the IGT cutouts. This involves the Tecra 730XCDT set aside for Autronic programming, then the rather extensive reference manual on the other laptop. After that, i want to check MAXBST and also check the INTEMP setting to make sure the IGTCUT works properly and doesnt cut like it wants to do when ALG functions are in any way active.

Then after that it's onto the DMS and to reset bump and rebound. And then post on AI.

And if you understood that, you have a very good life as a race driver.

So I was thinking of picking up a shortwave radio despite living in the part of the world where it is least prevalent and the reception is probably the worst, what with all of the electromag inteferiomatic fiizbangle waves shooting everywhere and the arctic polar jet thingy that snuggles the coast of the western US.

So, I look around for discussions on SW and most of the posts are from like 3 years ago and before. Bah. I guess the interweb has pretty much taken over. Still, I like the idea of a dedicated radio, unhooked from the digital hubverse.

Might do for long-term storage, but for general use, we're probably going to have to break down and scrap together some form of file server. $4 - 10 bargain bin/sale DVDs are a blessing and a curse. Can grab 2-5 of them a week for what it would cost us to go out to see a film - and we loves our movies, typically watching one every day. The sad side effect is, that between my wife and I, we have several hundred +++ of the buggers. Haven't counted, lately...afraid to. :/

My squishsquish is here beside me, along with some colored flour dough for little Gabby to play with. Just in case she wishes to place her fingers absent-mindedly in her mouth like kids her age are still want to do. :) Plus my wife wants something for her that won't stick to things. She knows I can probably handle my own things..hopefully.;)

Personally, I think getting dirty is part of being a child, along with learning to clean oneself and dress oneself. A time and place for each. We have an area in the basement designed for craft projects like this that is easily hosed down and I am sure betwenn Gabriella and I we can probably manage a semblance of order. And I wouldn't let her eat any of it... It's sterilized clay and pretty inert in the event of accidental consumption, though I bet in large quantities it would get pretty nasty.. My wife is a little more fussy about the issue of dirt and where and when though for our little one, so flour clay for her it will be. :/
