Ok, so Charley has been trying to get me to undertake this 'divide the Jedi' deal, and so I figured with Serena being captured and things looking particularly grim, I'd put out feelers to see if anyone is interested in making this happen.

s'Il would choose a few to ally with, and try to use her small group to break away from the others using a difference of opinion regarding the teachings and how to go about them as her basis. Not only that, but she and Dan are planning to use Zem as a way to convince others that not all Jedi are as good and helpful as they may seem to be.

For instance, I definitely see s'Il carefully try to win over Daria and Wyl, though I think it'd be near impossible to get Nav, Zem, and Serena. I'm not sure which way Morg and Rhianna would side with. I know I'm forgetting other Jedi, so if anyone is interested post your thoughts :)

If anyone has their own suggestions on how to go about doing this, I'm all ears. I want to get as much participation as possible.

yeah but ... remember, depending on how things play out with Nav, Daria, and s'il in our thread, would affect how they relate to this idea :p

overall, I do like it

I am sooo confused about where the Jedi are going right now, since no one can freaking decide on what they want to do :shakefist.. but I like this idea.

Divide the Jedi? I think you're barking up the wrong tree there.

As for how things go with Nav/Daria/s'Il, I'm sure we can find something that will work either way :)

I wouldn't necessarily say I'm barking up the wrong tree. I've always figured that the divide thing could backfire somewhat subtly, in that in the end it would help the Jedi to break away from the stodgy, old republic teaching methods of old. Instead of creating some crippling divide, it would simply usher in a new order of Jedi that are far more in tune with each other. I don't know how else to best explain that bit ^_^;

And yeah, things are a bit confusing for the Jedi atm. About all I know is that there's gonna be a traveling convoy/academy.

Is there a way that this little task of s'Il's lead into that? If the Jedi feel threatened in some way by not only the Empire, but now the Alliance, it seems to make sense that they'd keep to the stars and not stay in one place longer than they have to.

What I mean by "barking up the wrong tree" is that the Jedi need to be together before we can even consider them being divided. I've no problem with your idea, I just think that with the Jedi we need to walk before we run, although crawl before we walk would perhaps be more on the money.

In that case, my job is a lot easier!

Oh yeah... heh. Hi. I'm here, too. ^_^; I'm not the imperial you think I am, please don't shoot me. I'll get mean. >D

Well obviously Zem's not going with you since he's currently imprisoned with no chance of release.

This sounds vehry eenteresting.

As far as Wyl goes, he's sort of at loose ends; he's not going to be traveling with the others and won't be reunited with them for a period of time. So yeah.

But when push comes to shove, who is he to deny his mother-in-law? ;)

And s'Il is certainly interested in meeting her son-in-law as well :D

Well we are fast-forwarding to the Convoy experience, so I think from there a lot could happen when all the Jedi come together. I think it should progress in a more conversational level, and boil up to bursting meeting or conference between those names that will not be splitting.

I think the riff should wait though if it is to happen after we get established. Because truth be told, I'm still confused as to what is even going on right now with the Jedi. It's like...man, I dont even wanna move - I might step on a mine!
