Robot House never died... it in fact lives!

With DragonCon fast approaching, and folks from all over coming out, this is probably one of the only times we're going to have such a congregation near to Charley and I. So with that in mind, we're opening up the house and inviting Fans congoers for a stay :) It can be before or after the con, whichever you prefer. Good food, drink, and relaxation will be had, maybe a few nerf wars, and all that jazz.

So if anyone is interested, post so we can get an idea of who all is wanting to chill out for however long :)

I would love to come by you guyses place after the Con (it finishes on the 7th, and I don't fly home until the 17th), providing my eminently gracious host (i.e. Raz) is happy to make a slight detour on our way back to NC.

Hmm, it might be a shorter drive to get to Atlanta then Tuscaloosa from my location, but it'd be close. Looks like the most direct route would take me up 98N to Tallahassee, then from there up the backroads to Dothan, Enterprise, Montgomery, before finally getting into Tusca.

The thing I'm most concerned with is when people want to stay and how long they want to stay for, which doesn't matter to me at all. I just need to know how much vacation to put in; I've been saving my days and haven't used any at all so far this year just so I can go nuts come September :)

Because of my flight times, I would have to come by after the Con. In fact, it may be that I need to beg mercifully for a ride back to your place from Atlanta ^_^; Even just a day or two would be great!

I keep telling myself I'm going to make an effort to try to attend one of these shindigs, but I usually rarely plan far enough ahead to take advantage of the opportunity. Maybe I'm just finding an excuse to be unsociable. I've grown very comfortable with staying home, doing the SuperDaddy thing, that I don't go out very much anymore, except to shop for groceries or pick up other tidbits.

A few weeks ago I did make an effort to make a break from the everyday, though, with my little two-week trek over part of the Appalachian Trail, but that is a rarity.

Maybe I should make an effort to go out this weekend.

I ordered plane tickets and dragoncon membership. I'll be landing on Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport thursday 3rd of september 5.15 pm, and departing september 10 at 8.05 pm. Delta Airlines.
