What kind of ex-Republic soldier? As in cloned one? Or normal one?

First, welcome to SW-Fans

Now if I remember right... the Republic was replaced with the Empire about 23 years ago. (Check out the Timeline (http://www.sw-fans.net/wiki/index.php?title=Star_Wars_Timeline) - our roleplaying takes place just a couple of years after Return of the Jedi ended) With that in mind, it would have been difficult for a 6 year old to serve as a Captain in the Republic Special Forces, I think? :lol

You might be doing well to read the Wiki, since there are a few things different about this place. To make matters short: Everyone famous of the OT died at Endor, the Rebels lost and the Empire's still calling the shots. We're about 2 years after Endor now, and just got ourselves a new Empress. Whatever survived of the Jedi order is spread out and hunted by the Empire's Inquisitoriate, and the Dark Siders aren't exempt from that. Something of a Sith and Darksider stronghold has been established on Onderon, but there are a few others out there. You'd have to find some means to attract their attention.

As discreetly as possible.

:p Keep in mind that simply "calling them out" and announcing you are a force user isn't going to work either. They're more likely to sit back and giggle as others then take that as a cue to hunt you down and off ya.

If you need any help trying to craft that character so he falls well in the current timeline, just ask. :)
