Xbox problems

How Long for xbox 360 to get replaced by microsoft? I got the red ring of death, the hardware failure. Whats weird is I was having no problems with it, no games freezing, no system crashes, everything was running smoothly. So luckily I'm covered by the 3 year warranty. But I was wondering how long it takes for ms 2 send me the shipping labels and 2 fix it. So about how long till i can play xbox again. Also i still had 2 months of xbox live left, do i get that back?

I think it took about 2 weeks for my roommate's 360 to be replaced.

Normaly you get a free month whenever you send your box in. And it takes 14 days in Germany but I don't know how fast the mail is in the US.
