I'm exactly the same. I've never read zombie fiction though, I'll give a try when I don't have any BSG to watch. :)

If it's hurting your eyes, maybe turn down the brightness on your monitor?

I already have the brightness turned down on my monitor. It won't do to turn it down further, it's simply a matter of discomfort.

Save the page and edit the html coding to change the background and text colours perhaps?

Thanks for the links Jenny, I will be checking these out. I recently subscribed to LOVEFilm and have made a list of apocalyptic films including Day of the Dead.
