Yuck. I mean, I'm all for something mildly unhealthy every so often, but combining junk foods into a mega-heart-attack-of-death is just gross. I mean, those don't even look appetizing.
And this is coming from a guy who had honey-glazed, beer-battered baconated sausage.

Though there is a restaurant in Montreal that makes poutine with Fois Gras, which is a bit much...

actually I don't mind that. Actually looks kinda tasty.
I mean it's not so much in Japanese cooking, but in a lot of Asian cuisine they use pork and eggs. So it makes sense, even with the rice.
It's the hashbrowns plus the rice that kinda has me going "I wonder if that would be a bit much"

It only really looks that disgusting from the third-person, though. When someone is on a food binge, it is surprising what one will put down ones pipe. Maybe not mixed together, but certainly over a period of time.
When I was a kid and I aspired to be a ballet dancer, my way of thinking of food and eating patterns were generally rather controlled toward the healthy end, with relatively few wasted calories. I'd dream, though, of pigging out on such combinations as are linked to on that website. I remember that some of the things my buddies would eat, would easily top those. ;)

People need to get to the understanding that eating fattening food isn't a sin. It's only a sin when the portions are huge and you are just piling on fat and not an appreciable amount of flavor.

I've had a variation of these where its sort of this compound cream cheese spread over a hearty cracker or toast, with a belt of bacon baked around it, sort of like a piece of smoked eel nigirisushi. It's pretty damn heavy stuff, and by the time you eat it, the cracker's getting mushy anyway :(

Why deep-fry a cheeseburger? :whaa
Interesting story, but there used to be a restaurant on Birmingham's southside called The Burly Earl, which had similar wonderfully-unhealthy sandwiches. Not as pure awful as a deep fried cheeseburger, but usually things like deli meat sandwiches. The MacArthur was a roast beef & pastrami sandwich with provolone cheese on an onion roll that was similarly battered and deep fried. They also had a similar one that was turkey & swiss. Obviously something you should never make a habit of, but it's something I suggest you try once.

You still want the bread for cohesion. The batter itself isn't going to hold things together. Mind you, I question how well a grease-soaked burger roll will hold anything. At least the onion roll made sense.
