Jason looked up at the neon sign on the church that read "Forgiveness with in.". Taking a puff of cigarette he just stared at it a little longer, trying to fathom what it all meant. Wondering how any religion could promise forgiveness especially to those whores and drug addicts that littered the lower streets. Taking on last puff he thru the cigarette to the ground and smashed it out with his boot.

Then he proceeded up the steps and to the double doors ruined with archaic symbols and graffiti. He pushed them wide and entered the dusty hall lined with pews on both sides of a long walk way that lead up to an alter. Above the alter hung some phallic symbol of a long dead man who had been executed in some horrendous manner or another. The name of the savoir didn't matter the story was always the same he died for his people so that they could live free.

Jason eyes moved from the alter and began to dart around the hall. It was full of all the graces this particular savior had brought his people. The art of his greatness littered every wall but to Jason they were just pictures of man who died for his crimes. It meant nothing to him but finally his eyes landed on two doors off to the left side of the big hall.

He began to move towards the closer of the two doors that where practically right next to each other. He opened the door and slide into a really small room with a wooden seat inside. He shut the door behind him and sat in the small chair, clasping his hands together.

"Father it has been sixteen years since my last confession."

A small window in the room slide open then, allowing on to see into the small room next to this one. On the other side was man hiding his face in the shadows of the dimly lit room he sat in.

"Sixteen years is a very long time to stay away from are God, my son. What has brought you to me and back into the graces of are God's saving arms?"

Nexus was solemn as he spoke to the man on the other side of the divider. He was here to guide lost souls back to the light and to save them from the depths of their darkness. The man on the other side had lost his way and Nexus was going to lead him back to the path. Nexus was but a Sheppard for the lord he served.

"It was sixteen years ago that I realized that I was an evil man father. I came here hoping for forgiveness and to be absolved of the all my evil deeds."

In the entire universe Jason already knew there was nothing that could forgive him for all the things he had done. There was nothing that could forgive him for the things he was going to continue to do. He wasn't even sure if he wanted forgiveness for his sins. His sins where what had made him what he was, they shaped his whole life.

"I don't know if the man upstairs can forgive me for those deeds or the deeds I will no doubt have to commit later."

He was speaking his truth now to the man across the divider. He was sure the priest on the other side would try to prove otherwise. Maybe somewhere deep inside Jason was hoping this man and his faith could save him from what he had become but still doubt lingered.

"You see father I killed my parents and most of my siblings. I destroyed my twin brother's life. I also drove my own children to despise me. Not to mention all the others I have killed, they themselves probably have families that miss them."

There should have been shock in Nexus's face to the revelation but there was nothing. Nexus remained Solemn as the man spoke the vague details of his sins. Nexus had heard it all in his time as a priest. The grisly acts that a men would take to make a place for themselves in the world where a common themes in the confessional.

"Tell me off your family son. What would drive you to take their lives?"

"I loved my family once. I always loved going to my parent’s estate on Balmorra. Always had dinner there on Sunday evening and after dinner we would just all sit on the porch. To watch the sunset, chat about absolutely nothing that really mattered in the scheme of things."

The memory was one of the few good ones Jason could recall. Yet those dinners and sunsets didn't last and with time distrust of his family had grown. It left him empty and brought him to a breaking point. It took him to a place he was stuck in ever since that one night.

"Hmm it started sixteen years ago. Oddly enough it was the last time I made a confession."

His memories started to drift back as he began to tell the man across the divider the story. He saw his brother Allex sitting at the table surrounded by all his other siblings. His parents where at each end praying before there evening meal as they had always done.

Jason leaned against his speeder outside his parent’s estate on Balmorra contemplating weather to go in with the news he had in his hands. His twin Allex had given up on his dedicated and distinguished navel carrier for what? It was a question that plagued the twenty eight year old intelligence officer’s mind.

"What are you thinking brother of mine?"

He mumbled under his breath as he grabbed for the bottle of booze sitting on the hood of his speeder. Next to the bottle sat a loaded slug thrower and a pack of unopened cigarettes. Allex always had an uncanny ability to read Jason’s mind but it had never worked for Jason to read his twins mind. Then again that was the families dirty little secret wasn't every last one of them had the potential to be a force user, with the exception of Jason. If the secret where ever found out the whole family would be destroyed, Jason along with them even though he wasn't truly one of them.

"I hate you all, ever last one of you. You sit in your mansion living a lie, praying for the dear emperor who would kill you all if he knew what you where."

Jason spoke to himself with pure disgust and anger in his voice. He hated them for being something more than he was. Maybe it was jealousy or maybe it was the fact that if they where found out he would be taken down with them. With that Jason grabbed the gun from the hood of the car with his open hand and holding the bottle tight in the other. He began to march for the front door with a clear picture in his mind of what was going to happen.

Jackson stuck his tongue out at Allex as he pulled his hand away. He was hungry and the prayer thing his parents insisted on bored him. He didn't even know or care who Palptine or this Tarkin fella where. All he wanted was to see was the main course and hopefully it wasn't that bantha tongue again. How he hated the leathery taste and seemed like they had to have it every Sunday. It was his father's favorite; Jackson swore the man was going senile in his old age.

Lucky the stupid prayer Jackson cared nothing about final came and went. He quickly reached for a dinner roll and shoved it into his mouth. His mom gave him the evil eye as he did it but then again she had this thing about table manners. If Jackson had it his way there would be no prayer and no dumb table manners messing up his feeding time.

"So mommy what's for dinner?"

Mom: "It's mom you’re not a baby anymore Jackson you are ten. You will call me mom you understand?"

"Yeah sure what's for dinner?"

Mom: *sigh* "Bantha tongue your dad's favorite Jackson."

"Yuck. I will pass."

Again with the evil eye, as Jackson made eye movement of his own in the rolling kind. That's when Jackson saw his father staring dart's at him. That was never a good sign as he shied away ever so slightly.

Dad: "Jackson be good!"

"But I don't like bantha tongue. It tastes like shit."

All eyes were on Jackson as he said the dirty word. They all had gasping looks on their face except Allex who was trying not to laugh. Jackson just gulped back on the lump in his throat.

Mom: "where did you learn such an awful word Jackson?"

Jackson looked to Allex but didn't say a word. He wasn't no rat he wasn't going to tell them that he heard Allex use it when he was fixen dad's old speeder. Allex would never trust him again and Jackson couldn't have that. Although all eyes had already turned to Allex. As usual Allex just shrugged as if he didn't know what was going on.

Dad: "Go to your room Jackson. We will not have any of that filth at our table."

Jackson pouted at that moment not yet moving from the table.

Mom: "Jackson stop that pouting you are a big boy now, so start acting like one. Listen to your father and go to your room I will have Estel bring you your dinner after we are finished."

With a disgusted look on his face Jackson stomped off away from the table. It wasn't long before he reached his room, slamming the door behind him. Grown up's sucked much butt, he thought to himself as his eye's trailed off towards the window in his room.

Present Day

"Hold up a second, you are telling me you are the brother to Estel Mcgraves. The model they made holo vids and wrote books about because she met the tragic end?"

The priest had long ago had been somewhat of a fan boy of the young Estel Mcgraves. Now he had this guy in his confessional admitting to having something to do with her tragic end. Yet from what Nexus remember from the book and movies there had only been one brother in the story and he died in the fire after killing the family.

"I'm sorry but if you are going to come into my confessional and try to lie about whom you are, then I should just ask you to leave. I mean I have read everything about Estel and she only had one brother, he went crazy and killed the family then killed himself in an inferno."

"Father you of all people should know that what's written in a book isn't all ways the whole story. You need belief and faith to know the whole story that your little black tells you."

The Empire would throw a giant fit if the whole unedited story where ever printed. Not to mention that Jason head would be on a chopping block soon after if it ever got out. There where details to this story that went deeper then Jason murdering his whole family. It got deeper and darker then Jason himself was willing go.

"The part you don't know is I have controlling rights over everything that is printed about my late sister. I'm not in the books you read because that's the way the Empire wants it.

It's also why you don't know that mine and Estel's father was placed as CEO Balmorran Arms by the empire. In attempt to stop the rebellions and attempted uprisings going on there. It's why you know nothing about are mother except her name. She played more of major part in who we where then my father.

Its simple details were left out to protect certain interests and my own life. The rabbit whole is deeper than anyone can imagine and sixteen years ago I was just beginning to learn how deep it all went. So you mind if I finish telling you the story or should I leave father?"

Nexus wasn't sure what to say or do at that point. The man before him was dead set on believing he was the man behind the scenes on the mcgraves misfortune. In truth looking into the man’s eye's across the divider showed Nexus that there was truth to his words. Still it didn't make much sense to Nexus what information could be so devastating that the empire would want to cover it up. Especially about a family from Balmorra that as far as the books stated had only miniscule ties to the empire itself.

Still he was intrigued by this man before and what it was he had to say. Even if it was all a lie or some conspiracy cooked up by a mad man Nexus had a duty to hear him out. So without a second thought he nodded to the man.

"Please go on."

The Mcgraves Estate on Balmorra
16 years ago

Jason kicked in the front door in his fit of rage. He took quick glance around the entry way seeing that there was no one around. That meant that they were all sitting at the dinner table as if they where some traditional imperial family. Jason then called out them in his angered voice.

"I'm home mommy and daddy!"

He started his movement towards the dining room knocking random objects on the ground. His path of destruction would not be stop as he passed by a maid staring at him in shock. Without a thought he slammed his bottle of booze across the top of her head. The glass shattered and the maid hit the ground with a thump unconscious and bleeding from the face. He dropped the busted bottle the ground and proceeded to the dining room.

As he stepped into the room where his whole family congregated his father immediately stood up from the table. He eyed Jason with that stern stare he used to give him when he was a child. Yet today Jason was in control of the dialog not his father.

Father: "what is......"

Bang! Jason father fell to the ground as a bullet slammed into his brain pan. At the end the smoking barrel stood the neglected son.

"Not this time father. I'm tired of listening to your reprimands."

The rest of the family just looked at Jason with shock on their faces. All the color in their faces had faded to a pale white as they all slowly to glances at their father now laying dead on the dining room floor.

Jason was about to speak when the stranger Estel's boyfriend decided it would be better to bolt then listen. He ran for the doors in the dining room that exited out into the back porch. Two shot's went off into the young man's back as he slammed into the door. The body slid along the door to the ground trying to reach for the door handle just barely holding onto life.

"Now stay and listen family! We have a lot to discuss."

After being sent to his room Jackson had managed to sneak out his bedroom window with no being the wiser. He was now in the gardener's shed in the backyard. He didn't hear the gun shots as he was too busy digging thru old Billy the gardener's stuff. He knew Old Billy had a stash of candy somewhere in the shed; he just wasn't exactly sure where it was.

The whole time he was searching he was mumbling how unfair it was that he was being forced to eat the crap they served. He would teach them if only he could find the danged candy stash. He would have a good meal while the family had to suffer through Bantha tongue.

"Oh great brother of mine! All you can muster to utter is what and why?"

Jason spit the words back in Allex's face as if the answer should be clear to everyone in the room already. Hypocrites ever last one of them, hiding who they truly where from the galaxy. Jason knew everyone in this room already had one or two ideas about what it was all about.

"Allex if you are blind let me recap for you! I just killed are father! The why is because he dammed every last one of you by breeding."

Jason was the only one of them that managed not to develop the genetic abnormality of the force. If there father had been a true to heart Imperial support he would have been castrated so that there would be no basterd offspring. Jason no noted the cold look on his mothers face as he pointed his gun at her.

"What do you have to say for yourself?"

Mother: "You would never understand Jason!"

"Try me?"

Elena couldn't hold it back anymore as she stared at her father's dead body on the floor, she began to whimper. The tears began to flow faster and faster, as the whining etched its way into Jason's ears. His gun turned on Elena the youngest of his sisters and possible smartest. She was on her way to being an Imperial historian with only one year left of college.

That dream ended there as Jason squeezed the trigger putting a bullet in the back of her head. The smartest of the families face landed in her plate full of Bantha tongue and mashed yams. Jason gritted his teeth as he slowly moved his gun across the table stopping ever so slightly at the rest of the victims. Finally it settled back to being pointed at mommy dearest.

"You only got four children left to try and make me understand mother!"

Blood splattered on Allex's face as Elena's brains where blown out by Jason. Shock settled back into Allex as his eyes grew wide. He was frozen in fear not knowing what he should do to protect the rest of his family. He couldn't bring himself to look over to his mother who began to speak with hatred in her voice for the now disowned Jason Mcgraves.

Mother: "None my son's would ever do a thing like this Jason. I raised my children to be upstanding citizen’s not cold blooded murders."

Allex had no Idea what Jason wanted from them all. Off all his siblings Jason was sometimes the hardest to read it was like he could block his thoughts from the rest of the family. It was weird because out of them Jason was the only one that didn't possess the force but he had an uncanny ability to block them from reading his surface thoughts.

"Not what I asked for mother, you lose another child."

His gun went quickly to Estel as he pulled the trigger lodging a bullet into her throat. She didn't die instantly she sat there gasping and gargling for breath as blood spilled out her throat. Yet within a couple of seconds she went silent from blood either blood lose or drowning in her own blood. It didn't really matter to Jason who still held hatred and disgust for these people. These people he once called family but now where nothing more than the enemy.

Mother: "How Dare you!"

She shouted at Jason as she stood up from the table in a rage. Jason didn't hesitate as he put a bullet in her knee cap. She collapsed to the floor yelling in pain. His gun still trained on her not even shaking as it steady for a kill shot.

"Stay the hell down bitch! Since you can't make me understand why you are allowed to be hypocrites, I will make you all understand your hypocrisy."

His gun moved to Allex and trained on his twin.

"Allex still hasn't had the guts to tell you he stepped down as captain of the tide breaker. His reason for doing so, he will no longer stand for the Imperial actions taken against rebels. He is probably the least hypocritical of you all but he is still a traitor to the empire.

The rest of you pretend to be good imperials doing your duties and yet forget that you are all force users. You forget that if the empire knew what you where you would all be executed for treason. The sad part is I would be dragged down with the rest of you but I'm not like you. So I'm here to do the will of the empire and execute you all for treason."

Bang! Another shot went off it whizzed by Allex and embedded itself in Fay's face. Jason let a little tiny smile creep up on his face as he stared hard at his twin. He cared nothing for his dead or dying family members and it showed on his face. None of their words would them from his wraith and his imperial duty to put down the force user scumbags.

"Your words mean nothing Allex. You will be the last to die my brother!"

Jason took a few steps towards there fallen mom still yelling in pain. He stared down at her taking aim on her head. The kill shot was set in and Jason began to squeeze the trigger.

"Any last words Matron Mcgraves?"

Mather: "We got away with it because you have no idea who I am, you pathetic little basterd child!"

The gun went off and her brains impacted and splattered across the dining room floor. While Jason took in her words he failed to notice Allex bolt for the porch door.

"Lying Bitch!"

Allex bolted for the porch door kicking the dead body out of the way and yanking the door open. As he ran through it a bullet slammed in the door frame at head level. Wood chips went flying but Allex kept running the adrenaline was high as he ran towards where the shed was.

Allex wasn't normally a coward but he was afraid for his own life at the moment. He couldn't save his family from his crazed brother Jason. As he came up on the shed his little brother Jackson stepped out with a sucker in his mouth. Allex pushed himself harder not looking behind him as he came up on Jackson he scooped the boy up under his arm and head for the tree line. Only hearing a few more shots behind him as he ran on.

He needed to find a way into town and fast to tell the authorities what happened. He couldn't go back to the estate to get a speeder knowing Jason would be there waiting for them. So he ran for one of the neighbor's house only a few miles away.

Present Day

"So my brother's ran for their lives although at the time I wasn't aware Jackson had survived."

Jason reached into his jacket pocket at that moment and pulled out a pack of smokes. He began to pack them almost as if he was nervous to finish the story but really he was just itching for a cigarette.

"I didn't really know what happened to them until much later. I started the house on fire with some accelerant I found in the basement and then called the authorities. Told them my brother had gone crazy and killed my family."

Jason let a smile grow on his face because even after all this time he had single handedly covered up the greatest story of his life. He slaughtered his family and blamed it all on his twin brother, it made him proud in away.

"Anyway I'm not sure how my brother's managed to escape Balmorra and how I managed to get away with what I did. Yet I did and a week later I filed some Intel reports that stated the whole family had been killed then Allex started the whole house on fire. He burned to death unable to escape his own inferno.

The only family member to be alive and accounted for according to the report was me. I wasn't present due to being caught late at the office and didn't return to the estate until it was already burning. Do you think your God can forgive me for that Father?"

Nexus just had a pale look on his face as he saw the glee in the man across the dividers eyes. How could this man be asking for forgiveness if he didn't even have remorse for what he had done. Also what was this part about his mother not being who her son believed her to be?

"My God cannot forgive those who are not sorry for what they have done. You don't seem like you want forgiveness for this why is that?"

"You are wrong father. I am sorry and I want forgiveness, I just got caught up in how right I thought I was at the time."

Jason lied to the man of god because even to this day he knew he had done the right thing by destroying his family. He wasn't sorry and didn't feel he needed forgiveness for doing what was right. He did the will of the empire by destroying those that had the potential to rise up and destroy it all.

"You don't know the whole picture being painted yet father. As I didn't know the whole picture then and to some extent don't know it all to this day."

Jason started to unwrap the plastic from the pack of the cigarettes. He wanted to explain it to the man of god but how could he. It was still confusing to him, on how his family managed to cover up the deep dark secret they harbored.

"My mother was more than she ever told any of us. She had way more skeletons in her closet then I do. What I didn't know then was just how loyal my family actually was to the empire. My mother was a Hand of the emperor himself. She killed on his behalf and in return she was granted a few requests. One of which was to start a family that would be free from some of the rules that guided the empire."

Jason's squinted his eyes as he thought about it all. Had he known maybe things would have turned out different, then again Allex was still a traitor. Jason's life was all about secrets, the secrets of the past where what kept him going.

"There blood is on my hands but the blood of others taints the family name. My mother's position got my father his job as the head of Balmorran Arms. It got Allex to the rank of captain and me my position in the imperial Intel. All we were and are is because of her and the blood she spilt for the empire. In the end do you think your god could say I did justice?"

Jason flipped open the pack of smokes and ripped out the inner foil and tossed it to the ground. Maybe there wasn't forgiveness but just maybe he could gain some sympathy for what he did.

"Mind if I smoke in here father?"

"Uh..."

Nexus didn't know what to say to this crazy man across the divider. His story sound truthful enough, but it was just too crazy to be true. His mother was supposed to be some sort of hand that got special privileges because of the gains she made for the empire. It just didn't sound right to the priest.

"No matter what son it is still murder. Did your sister's deserve to pay for what your mother had done? Did your father or brother's for that matter deserve it?"

No matter if you called it justice when it all came down to it murder was murder. Although even Nexus had to admit at one point and time his god was a wrathful vengeful god not the loving one he had become.

"And no you can't smoke in here."

Jason didn't listen to the priest as he pulled a smoke from the pack and put it in his mouth. He reached into his Jacket and pulled out a lighter. He clicked the top open with his thumb and flicked it to produce a flame. He leaned his smoke into the yellowish orange flame puffing on it for just a second. He flicked the lighter closed and pulled the smoke from his mouth with the other hand. He blew smoke into the air of the small confined room.

"Ah now that's better."

He put the smoke back to his lips and took another puff into his lungs. Like any drug smoking was a habit and gave the user a temporary high with a sense of relaxation. He pulled it away from his mouth again and turned back to the man across the divider.

"My sister's may not have been a part of the big secret but they still lived the lie. As for Allex he was far from innocent now and even then. Then there is my dear little brother Jackson, he was innocent but he became the worst of us all."

Jason took another puff of his smoke, this time hold it in his lungs for a few seconds before letting it out. Jason closed his eyes and leaned his head on the back wall.

"Fine maybe your god can't forgive me for that but maybe he can forgive me for what happened with my children?"

Nexus's tone came of harsh towards the man in the box next to him. What kind of arrogant prick asks if he can smoke and then you tell him no but he still lights up anyway?

"Put it out!"

Nexus's tone was still harsh as his eyes darted directly towards the man across the divider. For the moment he didn't care what the fuck the man had to say. If he wanted the respect of the priest to listen he had better start showing some respect.

"My how time passes? It was five years ago my son disowned me."

Jason didn't seem too depressed about out of his children his son was the one he was most proud of. Jason Mcgraves Jr. was head strong but at the same time the boy had taken his mother’s death pretty hard. Jason had been hard on him and he never actually held against his son for making the choices he did.

"His mother had died on his thirteenth birthday. He never really recovered from it all and blamed me for it."

Jason tried not to reflect on his dead wife trying to push it far from his mind. She was the only person he truly ever loved and her death had turned him even sourer then he already was. Even evil men could love and fell loss.

"So five years ago he made a choice that would change the family once again."

Father Barton had a discouraged look on his face as he realized this man was not going to listen to him. The awful smell of smoke began to filter into his box cause the priest to cough. This man across from him was something else, something beyond evil.

"You kill your flesh and blood without much remorse because you think they betrayed the empire. Yet there you sit going on about your son with the disappointment in your voice."

There was an angry tone to Father Barton's voice as he spoke. He normally gave people the benefit of the doubt. Yet with this one he couldn't even feel an ounce of sympathy.

"You want to know why your son disappoints you. It's probably because he is the basterd son of a psychopath."

"Maybe that's true."

Jason hadn't thought of it like that maybe his son had too much of him in him. After all his son did attempt to kill him once. Just like Jason took his own fathers life his own son had tried to do the same. Yet unlike him his son had failed at the task.

"You see father my son decided to become a pilot and take his mother maiden name as a sign of disrespect towards me. I wanted him to be a part of the intelligence community like myself. He rebelled and forsaked my name. He took to the stars against my wishes."

Jason took a puff of his smoke and blew it in the direction of the father. Showing the man across the divider that he didn't appreciate being called psychopath.

"In his rebellion he even managed to turn his sister against me. She ran away at the age of sixteen. Took me several years to figure out where she ran off to. My son chased away my daughter and she found allies in her thought to be dead uncles."

The smoke filling the booth caused the priest to hack and cough as the psycho across from him puffed away. He went on and on about how his family disrespected him. He talked about how he alone had to set things right in terms of his family as he was its divine saving grace. This man was not here to repent he was here to gloat.

"I'm sorry I can't listen to this anymore."

The Priest hacked some more before he did something out of the ordinary for nature. This man though just caused something in the priest to snap and break from what was natural. He didn't like this man and it was hard for him to dislike even the most despicable of beings.

Jason smiled as the priest cussed him out it would seem his game of confession was coming to a close. He reached behind his back pulling out a slug thrower that was in a holster attached to the back of his belt. He quickly pulled back on the action allowing the priest to here the snap. He put the cig in his lips and spoke to the man across the divider.

"It's time to cut the shit. I know who you are and now you have guessed by now who I am."

Jason watched the worry in the man’s eyes through the partially veiled divider. He let out a puff of smoke in the priest direction.

"I know you help the rebels by trying to smuggle out persons of interest. Now I just want to know where you smuggle them too. You tell me that and this will all be over?"

Jason looked at the man through the divider with a very stern serious look in his eyes. However it was the devious devil like smile with a cig stuck in the middle that would send shivers down one's spine. The smile it's self was to say Jason was not a man to be fucked with.

"This is the part where you either talk or attempt to run?"

Hearing the action pop sent a shock into the priest's body. He froze in place for a few minutes with the deer in the headlights look. He wasn't sure what to do never could he have expected someone to confront him about being a rebel sympathizer. It was priest's duty to take confession hold peoples dirty little secrets and yes help those in need as well.

It didn't matter if you where rebel or Imperial it was Father Barton's job to take your confession and give you absolution. Despite that this Imperial agent had a point though Father Barton wasn't a loyal Imperial zombie. He had indeed helped many people escape the capitol city. He did it because he didn't think anyone would ever think a priest would be the one doing it.

That's when the flight instinct took over at the moment realization he was caught set in. He bolted slamming his shoulder into the door busting it off its hinges as the first bullet flew right by his head as he moved. The bullet embedded itself in the back of the confessional. John himself hit the floor as he busted through the door but scrambled quickly to his feet.

"Run it is, then."

Jason stood up quickly and kicked the door open in front of him. He moved forward out of the confessional and fired off another shot at the father. As the father was getting up off the ground a shot winged a nearby by pew sending wood chips flying. The father staggered to his feet rushing for the alter at the front of the church.

As the priest dodged in and out of pews making his way to the front Jason casually walked. He was waiting for his next shot to come to him. Just like everything else in life good things came to those that were calm and patient. As the priest dodged out of a set of pews and down the middle walk way Jason fired off a shot.

A bullet slammed into the back of his knee and exited out the front. Blood, bone, and other stuff better left on the inside spilt out onto the floor as the priest fell to the ground. In his stubbornness he kept trying to move forward and even tried to get back to his feet. As he attempted his way back to his feet he stepped up onto the bad leg and faltered again landing belly first on the ground.

The psycho was stalking closer to his prey as the priest did everything in his power to move forward as fast as he could. He made it to the first step up to the alter section of the church before the monster loomed even closer. The priest looked over his shoulder into those calm dead eyes. Those sleepless eyes of a man that couldn't handle his own dreams.

"I'm not going to tell you!"

As the words passed his lips another bullet hammered itself into the back of the priest other knee. The priest howled in pain as his hands kept clawing themselves up to the altar. The alter seeming to hold the key to the priest salvation.

"Really?"

The sadistic man paused at ten paces away from the priest trying to pull himself to the altar. He watched the priest for a few minutes letting his gun drop to his side. He pulled the cig from his lips and puffed out as he stared at the priest almost as if he was in deep thought about what to do next.

"So are willing to die for the rebels? Willing to be a martyr for cause that probably doesn't even know your name." Jason's left eye brow raised quizzically. "Is that it priest? I'm giving you a chance to repent your sins against the empire here."

The priest looked back up at the man with death written in his eyes. As the man looked back into the priest eyes all he saw was fear and that fight for survival. The priest was still in a futile effort to reach the alter as if there was something there that could help him. The pain in his face was set aside as survival was higher priority than his pain.

Scratching a scrambling for that alter he was barely making any head way when his mind just snapped. As any man who had the will to survive he would trade in his own children to live. It was a deep instinct every human had but most could fight off. The priest however couldn't fight it off all he had to turn in was strangers, strangers that meant nothing to him.

"Rutan, there being taken to Rutan."
