It leads to adding extra bacon, bacon-fried bacon, northern wyoming bacon loaf, bacon sauce on bacon, meatships, meat tanks, and the bacon explosion. Essentially, it becomes an end unto itself, and is extremely unhealthy and uncreative.

There are a handful of applications where you could do it, but it's a delicate situation. Two pieces of applewood smoked & cracked pepper bacon with over-easy eggs is alright for breakfast.

I'm trying to think of another good excuse for it and drawing a blank.

BLT's suck, and people who wrap filet mignon or scallops in bacon annoy me for some reason. It's like putting lipstick on a pig, in reverse. Hint, if you want to doll up something like that, try pancetta instead.

The oven is a electric fan assisted and yup, stainless pots and pans! It's all my mothers doing though :)

Is the convection function on the oven controllable? I know some people who do pastry baking and such get ripples in the batter with convection. I've never used convection before, so I'm curious on that :)
