When the LA Redencion House kicked off I jumped in because I saw a great chance to make Feral a more well-rounded character. Sure he's a bloodthirsty maniac, but I wanted there to be more to him than just hack-and-slash, blood-and-guts.

Feral sees himself as the self-appointed king of all mutants and most of his goals revolve around subjugating the world to a system where mutants are rulers with humans as servants and slaves. He's mercilessly cruel to his victims, but he genuinely tries to take the best care he can of those under his wing.

That's where the House comes in. I want to establish a few things with Feral.

1) That Feral has compassion for other mutants and is genuinely invested in the improvement of their lives. I want to show that if Feral were not ratcheted up so high, he might make a good father figure and family man.

2) I want to establish that Feral can show genuine attraction to another person on a deep and personal level. I'm working on this one already.

3) I want to demonstrate that Feral cannot live at Redencion House and have a family there while carrying out his plans. Inevitably the worlds will collide and I want to show that Feral cannot keep them from inevitably meeting.

So, I need some Redencion House youngsters to spend time with Feral. They can play games together, work on the house, have heart to heart chats on the porch, you name it. I just want to show that Feral can hold deep concern for the welfare of others.

If you're interested and want to start a thread. Or you can just start the thread and let me know here. Thanks for all your help. It's been great roleplaying in this setting so far. :)

As I was mentioning to someone before, I really like reading your posts with Feral, he's very different. The impression I have of him is a domesticated Wolverine, except he's having trouble with the domesticated part as it clashes with other elements of his character, as you mentioned. He's also been described as a really "full on" kind of character, and I agree with this too, even to the point of him being quite creepy in his doting after Anna.

If you'd like to do anything with Jake, I'd be more than happy to get cracking on that with you, especially since he seems to think he has a thing or two he could teach him.

As for your goals, judging by what I've read so far, you're definately on the right track and hitting all the right marks. Keep it up. :)

Thanks! I actually had in mind a thread where Feral teaches Jake some basic home improvement/repair skills and offers to even pay Jake for his help and even take him to dinner as part of the reward for a job well done.

If you are interested in this scenario, let me know. Also let me know which of us you would prefer to make the first post.

Anything's good with Train, though I expect seeing Feral sprout spikes will have a very big impression on her, given the incident at Cullen's and how the Vipuls died. :) Get me on AIM and we'll discuss it.

I'm thinking this could be an interesting dynamic; Julian, a mutant who needs to regain a semblance of humanity, is fostered in part by a mutant who holds these conflicting aspects to his personality. I don't have any concrete plot ideas for a thread, but if anything, something to do between Julian and Feral will highlight the troublesome aspects of their personalities.

How is Julian without humanity? Is he a robot-esque person who just plain doesn't care about anyone or anything? Is he cruel or cold to people in general? Does he not handle affection or social events well?

If I know how Julian is lacking in that manner, we can better coordinate something with Feral. Mostly Feral's problem at the House is not flying off the handle and butchering people who threaten the house and going on and on about how mutants are the new rulers of the world. His extemism must be curbed.

It would be fun though to see if Feral could offer any guidance to someone like Julian.

He doesn't handle affection or social relationships at all. A good word to use would be animalistic in the sense that his thought process doesn't work like a person's would, but from a foggy point of view between indifferent animal and a depressed child.

He needs to be educated on how to control his powers, and how to interact with people in general, as well as see himself not as a bad luck charm or someone that doesn't matter.

Well, that's something Feral doesn't have much experience in, but maybe he might suprise Julian and himself with the advice he gives.
