Figure I might as well post about this.
Back on December 30th, I had a pretty bad wreck on I-20/59 heading into work. I swerved to avoid a work ladder across two lanes of interstate and ended up in an uncontrollable spin. Didn't get a bump or scratch on me, but my truck got a good bit of body damage and ended up blowing out a tire, damaging a rim, and snapping an interstate sign in the skid down into a ditch.
Was able to drive the vehicle out after a tow and a spare, and I figured that I'd be able to repair the damage without a sweat. Well, the insurance company declared it a total loss due to the amount of damages being in excess of my truck's value.
I was very sad. After a wonderful nine years, I had to say goodbye to my awesome Thundertruck.
This weekend, I looked to find a fitting replacement, and got a certified pre-owned 2008 Ford Fusion SEL. I still mourn my truck, but I am happy at the successor:

I love the Fusion grill. It was adopted by the entire Ford line back in 2006 I think. Very distinctive. Sorry for the tree shadows, we live in the boonies.

It's a mid-size sedan but still has a little bit of an aggressive cut to the design, which is a good balance.

Interior. I don't care for leather, so I was happy to have cloth seats.

Console shot. Nice retro analog clock thingy.

It's a badical MI-6 issue hidey hole which I can stow things in! Things like pistols and such, or maybe a sandwich.

Pop dat trunk. Get me some neons & speakaz and shit and I be flamboastin'. Nah, I just playin.
The seats do fold down in the back allowing me to fit maximum junkage in my trunkage, which is good if I ever get to go to the range again, y'know, whenever.

The I4 and all of that science stuff I don't know I'm not a scientist.
