Same here. Never gave a thread less than 5 stars tho. Just feels weird to simply hit 4 or less....

The only time I've ever given less than 5 was using the stars to rate movies, in the Box Office forum.

I give 4 sometimes, just to mix it up. 4 is the norm for me, 5 for extraordinary!

Whenever I rate a thread it doesn't seem to show up. Does it take a certain amount of votes at a particular rating before it starts showing up?

I think it doesn't show up for the user, but when I'm on another account I can see the rating for some reason. Its weird.

I think at least 3 people have to vote before a rating appears, since the rating is calculated as an average.
