Now I know Anar is MIA? Karl has school, so this fell by the wayside, so I've been thinking that the announcement should happen soon! However, I want all parties involved on the same page.

So any thoughts on how to do this besides me making some speech about how every citizen loves me :p

We could have a thread where you make your speech, and have others do a sort of "where I was when..." in which the characters have their reactions to the news and its implications and all that.

I've had a fun little idea for the Empress's arrival over Coruscant. In addition to her being on her flagship, perhaps the flagship should be flanked on either side by a pair of Super Star Destroyers for impressive show?

On the right flank could be the Intimidar with Telan onboard. On the left flank could be the newly comission Dominion with her command along with me as an observer onboard. Add in one thousand TIE Fighters/Interceptors/Bombers as an honor guard.

I was thinking of throwing in the Inquisitoriate fleet in there as well that they've been building up at the Maw.

Granted right now it is only 5 ships total, but we do still have all of the Navy's hand-me-downs.

Maybe we can ask if it's okay to make the Holonet announcement a board-wide sticky post? So it would show up at the top of every forum - sort of the OOC version of the IC cut-off of all lovely holo-programs :p

Oh and about Sanya and Yeart - let's go kick Travis into posting shape so we can advance on the whole Yeart the megalomaniac thread so Miranda can tell him just how ridiculous this whole idea of his is and introduce him to Sanya!

Ok so this for a possible outline -

Miranda opens the thread speaking before the Moffs in the former Senate building. She'll be flanked by a dozen INQ ^_^

Karl will then speak and tell the dissenting Moffs to hush :p

Then Miranda again.

Then cut to military peeps outside in orbit.

Then back to Miranda to give the speech.

Then everyone else ^_^

I was thinking that once Miranda's announcement happens, that the Majestic comes out of space next to the 'honor guard' that's out in space as a wonderful show of strength and don't mess with the Empire kinda message to the Rebels ;)

no the irresistible was the name that Quenn gave it. Miranda renamed it to the Majestic since that fits better ;). It just hadn't been played out yet. Besides, Miranda is all :rolleyes at Quenn and his bloated ego. The last thing she wants is a reminder that HE named HER ship :lol
