Saw the trailer for this movie, and I've gotta say that I am pimped about going to see this movie. A blend of action, adventure, and romance, the film is long but looks to be promising.

Release date has been pushed back to November 26th for the United States and Australia.

I've been following this film very closely since I heard about it, I think the trailer is wonderful and, even though I know next to nothing about the plot, I cannot wait to see it. A new Baz Luhrmann film is worth getting excited about. :D

Overblown, overhyped and the black kid is the only decent actor.

Errr... no I dont need to give it chance because I've seen it - That's my honest review. It's just too long, looks pretty but is seriously overhyped and overblown. Nicole Kidman simply comes from the acting school known as wood.

The black kid is the best actor. Which is concerning considering some of the talent that's supposed to be there.

If you want to see an actual good Australian movie, find "The Dish" on DVD. Now that's one that's seriously worth bothering with. This is just.... I wont say awful but it's not fantastic by any stretch of the imagination.

^^ Yeah, the reviews are kind of mediocre. Looks like more like rental material than movie ticket material now.

Yea... I saw the preview for it and it screamed "Pearl Harbor." That scares me.
