Talk about a meltdown in Cleveland - the Browns turned the ball over four times in the second half, and two of those directly canceled out bad INTs by Sage Rosenfels that gave them prime opportunities to get back into the game. Brady Quinn was pulled after his second interception of the game, and the same fans who were chanting for him started booing him. Derek Anderson went back in and didn't do much better, though a big part of that is that Braylon Edwards drops everything thrown his way. A truly sad effort by this Cleveland team.
Meanwhile, Brett Favre in the Jets rolled over previously unbeaten Tennessee. With just over two minutes left, Favre has thrown for 224 yards and two touchdowns, but even more amazing is the Jets' team total of 192 rushing yards and 2 TDs on the ground. The Jets lead 34-13 at the two-minute warning.
EDIT: Woah, in other news - Buffalo 54, Kansas City 31!!!

I totally did not see Jets beating Titans coming.

The Titans just played a bad game, it does happen. the Giants looked terrible against a crappy Browns team a few weeks ago. They will still win homefield considering their next three games are against bad teams and they should split the last two games. I see them going 14-2 right now and hopefully they will learn from this game.

The Raiders beat the Broncos, though I don't know if that goes as an upset or just a clash of two horribly broken teams.
The AFC West is as bad this year as the NFC West was last year.

I did, wheee!!! :eee
Still down 4 games for the weekend, though, the one I totally didn't see coming was the Raiders beating the Broncos. Ugh :x.

No loss for you there - nobody picked the Raiders.
Actually, I looked ahead, and here are the scenarios.
If the Chargers win, Rutabaga and I will be tied.
The Monday Night game will determine whether that tie will be one game ahead or one game behind Yog.

Just what the heck do the football gods have against the Chargers? They have become the poster children for painful last-second losses this season.
I swear, they're like the Maxwell Smart of football...they keep missing it "by that much."
It sucks. :shakefist

11-4 so far this week, one of my better weeks so far this season. Me, Rut, and Pode all correctly guessed the NJY ending the Titans undefeated streak.
Now, all I need to do is correctly guess the week that the Lions will end their defeated streak (if they manage to do it at all, but I think they eventually will).

Detroit's remaining schedule:
Tennessee Titans
Minnesota Vikings
at Indianapolis Colts
New Orleans Saints
at Green Bay Packers
The Vikings and Saints are capable of dropping a bad game on the road, but their best chance may be to hope Green Bay has their seed all sewn up and doesn't really try that hard in Week 17. Not likely, though, since the Vikings, Bears, and Packers are still all knotted up with five losses apiece (Green Bay must defeat New Orleans tomorrow to keep up).
Normally I'd agree - 0-16 is so incredibly unlikely at this level of football. But the Lions have proven themselves capable of blowing leads at a prodigious rate even when they have managed to score. I'm not sure there's been a sadder story in the NFL since the Panthers won in week 1 and dropped fifteen in a row.

I actually feel really sorry for the Lions and their fans...I hope they do manage to win a game so that they don't go down in history as being completely winless for the season.

My brother has started working out playoff scenarios and has discovered something interesting... at 1-10, the Chiefs are not yet eliminated from the playoffs.
The Broncos lead their division at 6-5. If the Broncos lose their remaining five games, the Chargers lose four (all but their game against Denver), and the Chiefs win their remaining five, the Chiefs will be tied with Denver for the division lead at 6-10 but will edge them out with a division record of 4-2.
Now, if the Chargers also finish 6-10, it'll matter who else they beat. For the scenario to work, they'll have had to have beaten the Broncos and lost to the Chiefs, putting their division record at 3-2. If they beat the Raiders, they'll tie the Chiefs' division record of 4-2 AND their conference record of 6-6, sending it to common games played, where the Chargers have the edge. If they lose to the Raiders and beat anyone else, the Chiefs will be division champs at 6-10.
Buuuut that's not going to happen... we can only hope.

And I'm pretty sure that Figrin has dropped out.

Had a pretty lousy week compared to last week, but I see it didn't damage me that badly overall, so I'm okay with it :).
