Stone hasn't made anything good in about 10 years.

Yeah I know, although Alexander really ruined him as a director. At least Nixon was a solid movie. I do think it is too early for Bush movie.

I enjoyed Alexander. I have the last release he put out, Alexander Revisited though, and I've heard it's cut in such a way as to make it almost a different movie completely from what it was in theatres.

But still, I love it :|

^ yeah, some of the actors don't seem quite right for the parts. This is probably true for most 'based on a true story' type films, but since it's covering events right up to the here and now I think it makes it much more noticeable (and distracting).

Richard Dreyfuss does look pretty good though as Cheney, and I think Brolin appears to have Bush's voice and facial mannerisms down quite well (even if he doesn't really look too much like Bush himself). It'll be an interesting film.

People who rag on Alexander are either bad with movies or just blatant homophobes, because that movie was awesome.

JFK, however, was crap.

Only if you've failed physics you silly bastard.

Well I found it kind of dull, and Ferrell just didn't work for Alexander for me.

Well, there have been some sneak previews to the press, and so far it has been positive.

'W' proves Stone hasn't lost his edge (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117993401.html?categoryid=1&cs=1)

Also, let's not forget, it's a COMEDY. It's not intended as a definitive historical document. I think you can give some slack on the accuracy, if the end result is entertaining. From the look of things, it is.

It could be entertaining, the one trailer I saw looked very funny.
