Tipoca City

Eluna had been waiting about an hour in the company of her Kaminoan host. Her artificial eyes adjusted to the ultraviolet spectrum, able to discern the detailed markings on the Kaminoan's otherwise-spartan structures. She found herself enjoying the aesthetic for a brief moment, but like all things, her attention shifted to something else. As she waited, she was served a drink and a few bits of fruit by an aloof hostess, who seemed to float away as she gracefully walked. Through an open window, she casually glanced at other Kaminoans, busying themselves with scientific pursuits of some sort. With the notion of cloning effectively made taboo in the wake of the Clone Wars, and sporadic Imperial intransigence, the Kaminoans put their work to other tasks. Eluna had a notion that perhaps their most famous trade still existed in a small and clandestine fashion. It was an entertaining theory at least.

She looked up as a ship cut through the driving rain on the outside, touching down on a pad at the far end of the platform. Was this her expected guest? She popped a piece of fruit, letting the sweetness diffuse onto her tongue, and tried not to let her thoughts drift to mundanely sorting the chemical makeup of the sweet snack.

Rossos had been to Kamino only twice before this day; once in his transient childhood, and once just before he had entered the Inquisitoriate. As his small fighter landed on the pad, he found himself remembering the staccato sound of the rain on the roof of a completely different kind of ship.

The cockpit opened, and he climbed out of the fighter, pulling the hood of his cloak up to protect himself from the rain. He was brought out of his memories when the entry doors to the City opened, and inside he could see the graceful forms of the Kaminoans waiting to greet him.

"Greetings," the Kaminoan said, bowing. Rossos did not reply and continued on down the hallway, surprising the Kaminoan, who nevertheless kept its features smoothed and emotionless to most other eyes. The greeter turned and began to follow Rossos as he strode purposefully down the hallway. "We were much surprised to hear from you, and your visit, while unlooked for, is welcomed."

Still, Rossos did not answer, but only allowed his smirk to further widen as he neared the door to where he could sense she was waiting for him.

Eluna remained seated as the doors slid open, giving her adversary a slightly coy and doe-eyed expression. Setting her drink down, she reached for another piece of fruit, popped it in her mouth, then snatched the serving platter up in an instant, hurling the disc-shaped projectile at her enemy with the clear intent of severing his head from the rest of him.

Rossos's mouth quirked, and merely raised his hand. The platter stopped in mid-air, hovering.

"That's not very welcoming," he murmured just loud enough for her to hear. "Are all rebels as manner-less as you?"

Raising his other hand, he pulled his hood down, revealing his face, and two dark brown eyes steadily gaining a sickly yellow colour which never left Eluna's own eyes. The cloak fell to the floor, allowing him better movement for the battle ahead.

"Now, I shall show you the power that you face, little girl," he said lowly flicking his fingers at Eluna; this slight gesture shot the platter back her with blurring speed.

The platter hit her squarely on her forehead. She blinked, and the platter crumpled and warped, ricocheting away to leave a two inch laceration near her forehead that trickled a little blood. She reached up, dabbed a bit on her finger, and gave it a glance before charging her nemesis. She charged ahead, delivering a fusilade of frontal strikes that came with strength unbecoming her seemingly demure figure.

Rossos was not yet fully immersed within the Dark Side of the Force by the time Eluna began her attacks, necessitating the need for him to dodge her rather fast strikes, impressive for one without aid of the Force.

However, after leaning backwards, and seeing the sole of her boot a centimeter from his nose, Rossos felt that he had played with the woman enough. She launched a punch at him that connected solidly with his face, while sultaneously he Force-Pushed the young woman away from him. It was the pain from the punch that pushed him fully into the Dark Side. Blood dripped from his nose, but he merely raised his arm slowly, letting it extend to its full length. The lightsaber hilt at his side, a long one with a distinct curve at the end, flew into the palm of his hand and a dark yellow blade sprung forth with a muted hiss. His smirk grew practically bestial as he advanced on the girl, the energy sword humming as it burned the very air around it.

Eluna contorted backwards into an elegant flip, and just as quickly snapped forward into a low lunge, sliding along the floor to catch her enemy in a scissoring leg snare. The air burned near her in a near-connect of the lightsaber, and a small cutting of ginger hair danced in the air and sailed past her as she took to the ground.

She recovered faster than he had expected she would; he lightly hopped over the low scissor kick, and swung the lightsabre down, nearly taking off the Rebel's head, unfortunately it seemed no damage had been done to anything other than the floor, which sported a large gash in it now.

"Well done!" Rossos praised mockingly. "Well done indeed, I must say. No wonder the rebellion is such a bother if they have fighters such as yourself among their ranks."

He grinned, and with a flourish of the lightsaber, battle was joined again.
