That's right, its that time again. Its Character Evaluation Time!

Some of you may not know the drill (its been two years since I last started a round of character evaluations), so here it is. If you have read some of my RP work with a specific character, and there is something you love/hate/tolerate about it, then post and tell me.

The only criteria is that you actually have read some of the RPing I've done with the character, and that you're nice about what you say. Criticism is okay, just make it constructive.

And if all you have to say is "what the hell happened to this character, I miss them" then say it! I'm starting to get back into the swing of things after having Owen, so if you miss one of my characters then I'll be more likely to pick them back up again.

:idea Oh and I forgot to add: feel free to start your own Evaluation thread for your characters. This bandwagon was made for jumping onto!

WoD

Sansa - :cry oh god I love Sansa and I've made her into a monster :cry... no really she is pretty cool. I am intrigued to see what vamp!Sansa is like, though I foresee horrible dramas between her and Gabe. They are one of my favorite 'couples' that I have ever played in, and Sansa was pretty much the reason that Gabriel got all of his complexities. It always felt like the WoD revolved around them ^_^;

Katarina - yes your groove for this woman back on, because I <3 playing Sergei alongside her :mischief I figure she will be the driving force behind lots of Camarilla problems from now on, and besides that I think we have a lot of stuff still to be explored storyline wise. Yes, more is needed.

Star Wars

Lilaena - ...continues to intrigue me. I am curious what, if anything, she is planning on doing with the Mandalorians, or whether she is just going to do everything that Salem says for the next.. however many years before she runs off like a traitorous little whelp >: She is a bit of an anomoly in the royal court, so I am always interested to see how she will react to the various dramas of Iziz. I also wonder how her feelings will develop for Salem, what kind of conflict that will cause...

Serena - she need something to do, as we have discussed. The Jedi as a whole need something to do really, beyond being Wyl's Giant Happy Family. Her past with Salem must be explored! :mischief

Bette's always been my favorite of your characters (even if Shadow Squadron doesn't get used that often).

And the Jedi need to do something. I like them as 'Wyl's Giant Happy Family' but if there're more out there, then don't they need to be used?

Arya - I love the way you write her, and also the way you describe the undercurrents of her Lupine psyche. Not to mention how... "well"... she and s'Il get along ;) Her pairing with s'Il pre-reset was great, and I really think that post-reset has the same potential to be as humorous, just in a different way.

James - I miss James!

Daani - Holy cats you write kids so well. I miss all those little things you'd include in your posts with her. Really gave the reader the feeling that this kid was too cute and hungry for her own good.

Arya has that roustabout well-traveled feel of a character and I've always enjoyed interacting with her. Scoundrel types are always more interesting than ivory towers imho :)

I will plot and scheme to get James back on board Layla because having her around was way fun. A crowded ship may make posting a little slower, but the banter is what I live for. I miss that a lot.

Double plus for Daani. What Christin says is true, you both have this sort of innate gift to write as kids. I know you've sometimes felt frustrated and typecast with her, but you do write her very well.

I miss having Sasseeri as a nemesis. I know that the huge urns thing was a FIASCO, but I am always interested in finding ways to cross paths if you want.

Blind Molly was written incredibly well, and of course, I was and still am in love with the Myth concept. I want to plot and scheme to get it back on its feet, because that's some of the best roleplaying fun I've had in years here.

I did not know you played Vigilante, but then I'm obtuse at times. I really like the character and the whole dynamo of this whole big mystery around her. I hope that we get a chance to RP together.

I know this sounds stupid, but I was all sad when you were preggers and didn't see you around as much, but it seems that after the baby you've sort of come back more. I don't know how hard it is to type when breastfeeding, but I am impressed :) Hope the trend continues.

Its impossible to type while breastfeeding, btw. ^_^; At least, for me it is. I can't one hand type well with my ergonomic keyboard.

:cat perhaps Daani will have to make it back to the roster of regular characters...

Thanks for the input so far, guys! I need to make the rounds to the other eval threads. :eee

EVILLE: I've always enjoyed LD - she is always really tough at the appropriate times, especially with her apprentice. You dont overwrite her power, which is to your credit.

ARYA: I have always preferred Arya of the preset to the Lupine version in the reset. I dont know exactly why that is..I think preset Arya had all the attitude of her 'humanity' (weaknesses included) and her smugglers maverick ways. I found I read her more than the newer incarnation. But that is not to say I dislike the new Arya :)

SASSEERIE: Again, I say, Bring her back. IMO, you capture the Cizerackness almost better than Charley. She is a long-time favorite SW Character of mine.

Argh, I wish I had infinite time, because I'd love to RP with every one of your characters! I barely got to know Bette, and I'd have loved to have seen what sort of chemistry would develop between her and Tannis.

What I've read of James Prent, both before and after the reset, has been absolutely adorable. Something about seeing that bright-eyed kid stepping out into a wide universe, learning something about the good and the bad it has to offer, but still not really losing her innocence and joy of life... Not that she's squeaky clean, we can see she hasn't come from a comfortable background and she's made her way. But she's unpretentious and inquisitive and the sort of character you really want to root for.

Something I've just now realized - maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it seems to me that Arya and Vigilante are exactly the same character! :eek Obviously they've got very different backgrounds... but they're both international/stellar women of mystery with a dual nature, a knack for intrigue, a certain take-no-crap assertiveness and a definite lone wolf mentality. I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing. They both have their own stories, and they're both fascinating. It's just interesting, is all.

And we were just getting into Blind Molly, which is going to make me feel all the more guilty if I don't find a way to bring Calleh back out of the woodwork...

Where is the Professor, anyway? I can't keep a single pilot in Shadow Squadron for an entire RP. Well, except for Aliya, she's my buddy. :hug

;) I understand though, I really do! And you're right about Arya and Ginny, I didn't really think about that before though. I do like to write strong women characters. :D

Why is it that right when I get inspired to post, I get too inspired?

I was re-reading some old RPs with my Senator Fa'un Thareena character, the one from Chandrila who tried to get the Republic to put the hammer down on Corellia and the Sith Order.

I'm tempted to resurrect her for the Rebellion. I don't want to 'lead' the rebels, but perhaps a political leader from Chandrila to follow in Mon Mothma's footsteps would be a good thing? Thoughts?

We have an NPC called Mon Razien who Dani and I wrote took over Mon Mothma, but if you want to write someone to replace him, that would be cools :)

Oooooooo......LD, you gave me an idea for an old RP storyline I was working on and got distracted (moving will do that).

Okay, I hate to say it, but I really don't read many of your threads :uhoh I've read lots of your WoD and most of the ones you've done as James. I really like James and Sansa, and I wish I could give you more of a reason why. :(

Well, they're my most vulnerable characters? If I had to classify my characters, Sansa and James would be in there as what I would consider the most 'real.' At least, that's how I tried to make them. Ordinary. :)
