Okay I recently changed the settings on my display from 1024 X whatever to 1152 X 840. When I tried to switch back to 1024, the display on my screen basically 'shook' and 'warbled' (for lack of a better term). I can change it to the 860 display without a problem but the 1024 is still an issue. I tried restarting, Windows troubleshooting, etc but no luck.
Any suggestions?

If it's a tube screen, try changing the refresh rate.

And if that doesn't work?

And if that doesn't work?
In my experience, it will work

It should. Try 75 and then 85 hz.

I ended up setting all the way down to 60 and it worked (somehow). Originally, the only choices I had were 75 and 85 and the monitor didn't like 85 (it would shut off).
It is a six-year-old monitor so that could be part of the problem.

That's odd o_O
What brand of monitor is it?
I've still got that old black behemoth Toshiba, and it works just fine on any resolution I feel like. Had it for 8 years now and not a problem.

Yeah but that behemoth was hardcore. Anyway, it's a ViewSonic A70f+. It's just being temperamental I guess.
