Okay so the deadline for Week 6 has come and gone, and now it is time for the Week 7 competition. Since no one has posted up a secret ingredient or deadline yet, I shall be naughty and post one up myself.

Ten days from the start of today. That would be Monday, August 4th, for the expiration of Week 7, so two weekends and one week, which I think sounds fair. Without further ado, the secret ingredient:

Well count me out of these contests until the last week of August. I'm off on my "cooking vacation" next friday and won't really have much of a chance to take pics or upload anything from where I'll be. Unless a miracle happens and they've invested in more than the one rickety old PC with a 56k modem which is constantly under siege by warring teenagers....
