I found it worth sharing and feel it is a well done piece of work that deserves to be seen, viral marketing aspect included. I'm all for viral marketing as it is an interesting tool used in today's economy.

This was... odd, but funny :) I had no idea they made this.


The movie was written by Joss Whedon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joss_Whedon) and his brothers Zack Whedon (a lesser known television writer), Jed Whedon (a composer) and Jed's fiancée, Maurissa Tancharoen (an actress). The writing team penned the musical during the WGA Writer's Strike (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007%E2%80%932008_Writers_Guild_of_America_strike) . The idea was to create something small and inexpensive, yet professionally done, in a way that would circumvent the issues that were being protested during the strike.

Watching Neil Patrick Harris sing in some weird video blog thing didn't sound like something I wanted to see.. but I just got around to watching this today and it was fantastic. I can't get the songs out of my head.

The ending was a bit shocking since the whole thing is light-hearted, but since Joss Whedon clearly has issues I should have seen it coming.
