Whooo, its rolling around the time that the local hard rock station is having their yearly massive shinding in Madison, Wisconsin. I am definitely heading out to this and I really recommend that anyone in driving distance show up. It always a blast heading out to Band Camp.

The 2008 line-up so far is:

Seether
Shinedown
Hurt
Ra
Theory of a Deadman
Dope
Neurosonic
Anew Revolution
Bobaflex
Red
Black Stone Cherry
Kicking K8
Evolocity
Sick Puppies

Soooooooooo, this was probably the most kick-**** 14 hour concert I've been to. This shindig was last sunday and I am still beaten, bruised, hoarse, and sunburnt to all hell, but DAMN was everything worth it.

My sister and I got ourselves up at the crack of dawn and managed to be two of the first 20 or so people through the gates (well beside those will-call people :shakefist )

At $41 bucks for the day, the cost to see the bands was a freaking steal, but unlike the last few years we had absolutely no storms and the sun beating down overhead......with beverages at criminally high prices.....I think like 3.50 for bottle of freaking water O_o .

I do not have any pictures of the event myself save for a few crappy quality images shot on my cell phone (still have my camera in NC -prods matier- ) and sister decided not to bring her camera.

Had a great time ruling the moshpits and yelling myself silly, sister and I chucked our unsuspecting friend Koryna into the air for a bit of crowd surfing in which she ended up loosing in a crowd of X-thousand people. But ha-HA I did find it by some miracle and earned my self a flurry of punches to various areas rather the an all-out beat down.

Of all the bands, Red and Shinedown by far had the best shows (seether, Hurt, and Deaf Pedestrians followed closely behind) Managed to get to chat with several of the bands and score a few autographs, most notably the entire crew of Red.

When the website has some photos up I'll put them here to attest to the awesomeness of the show. Will definitely be back next year.............................................. .............................with sunscreen.
