Ready for some noir-esque cop beyond the edge action? I couldn't figure out how to embed the trailer into this post, so clicky the linky to get to it. :)

And no, I don't know what those wing-ed things are either. :huh HOWEVER, it looks awesome. The movie, not the winged things. Well those look cool too, just I don't know what they're doing in the Max Payne movie. Perhaps they're supposed to symbolize his inner demons? Or maybe some extras from the Hellboy movie wandered onto set while they were filming the trailer...

Oh, nice little glimpse of what I assume was Mona Sax in there.

Wow, Mila Kunis as Mona Sax? She looks almost exactly like the game version.

In fact, almost everything in here looks dead-on. They did a really good job with that.

Very excited now :)

Max Payne was tripping balls approximately half the game, it seems. I don't think a little thing like wings is abnormal for the story, considering that.

It's been ages since I played the game, but I must say this looks to be awesome.

Those things a valkyries in my opinion. They bring the dead heros to Valhala in nordic mythology.
I am not really that much impressed since I do not like Wahlberg as Max Payne. I hope those valkyries are only part of the sequences where Max is druged with big V.
Oh and there is only one true Max Payne and his name is Sam Lake :)

Yeah, I wanna see this movie. The trailer music really kinda draws you in. Plus Mila Kunis ;)

I remember playing this game in my younger days, chasing that damned blood trail in those nightmare scenes while half asleep. Ah, good times.

I always thought Julianne Moore would have made a great Mona Sax... but I guess Mila will do.

I used to think that also, until this trailer. I was shocked by how much this whole thing matched the game. She was dead on. I mean, look at that whole elevator scene, freakin awesome.

I've actually never played the game, but I like how the trailer looked. Music really fit too.

Let me disagree with this. I know nothing about Max Payne but Wahlburg looked pretty cool being P.O'ed and shooting stuff.

Looks good.

Wahlberg looks more like Max Payne in MP2 than MP1, which I think is a good thing.

That, and he's got that whole film noir growly monologue thing quite well. To be honest, I'm more excited about that than I am all of the bullet time action. These games inspired the hell out of how I write

Oh, I agree, totally. They really captured who the characters look.

Wahlberg wouldn't have been my first choice for Payne either (in fact I thought it was Matt Damon at first :uhoh), but I doubt I would have suggested Heath Ledger to play the Joker either. Sometimes unusual choices really work!

I was not aware of that :)

Yeah, one of the major parts of the first game is that the bad guys give him a big dose of Valkyr at one point and he starts seeing really weird things

Looks worthy of a watchin', IMO.
