That isn't great for Hancock. It might not make a 100 for the five days. It looks Liam might get the #1 movie. Also Kit is missing it made 1.1 million.

&*^%(&* hell - I missed this week :mad. I didn't know we were due in on Wednesday. :( :cry
Here's my picks anyway in case the judges choose to be generous (I haven't even read any numbers yet - not even the Wed ones posted above ^):

I will let everybody else in the thread decide on it.

Uh, sorry, but no. I posted on time, and went with the low pick for Hancock. You would win that if it makes less than 100 mil, and that's not cool.
Maybe you could just get points for order, but not closest to the dollar amount.

It is kinda too late once the numbers are posted in the thread. It's not like we could just assume your ignorance at that point.

Ehhh forget it. I withdraw my picks. Don't want people getting upset over it. I'll just have to wear this one.

I am sorry, I was considering giving you the points for order but it is up to you on that. At least this one will be counted as your one of your 4 lowest scores.

Yog dominated in weekend we pretty much overestimated everything except for Get Smart. Nobody got #5 right as Kit Kittredge crashed and burned.

If it wasn't for the holiday weekends I'd be winning...but I have crashed and burned on both the Memorial Day and 4th of July weekends. :p

well its not over yet. I am not sure how lowest weekends will factor in. This weekend I really messed up by going so high on everything except for Get smart. I missed all 3 movies by about 20 million a piece.

That is where I crashed and burned last summer, and trying not to crash and burn in bonus weekends this year.
As an anecdote, I was actually strongly considering putting Kung Fu Panda in 5th and lowballing on Hancock. I kept those 2 picks for tactical reasons intending to check back on theater reports and yahoo reviews closer to the deadline for some edit. I took a nap, and next thing I knew, I wake up 1 hour after the deadline and it was too late. Maybe good for the competiton I slept through that, because I could have made 200 points.. :p

LOL lucky us although I don't think you could have saw Hancock coming. Tuesday's previews numbers made it look like it was going to do 110-120. Although you could have fixed Kung Fu Panda. I probably screwed up everybody there by picking it first lol.

Actually, I had been scratching my head the whole week wondering why everyone thought Hancock would do so great. This was one of those movies where I just did not get it watching the trailers, and if it were up to me, it would not be making 100M in 5 days. The only reason I put Hancock so high was because of tracking and I did not want to give CMJ too much room if the tracking turned out correct (I was thinking more like 110, but Crusader already picked that). People were talking about 30M wednesday. The last minute tracking however, suggested about a 22M wednesday, which would have been low enough for me to try lowball it, because I felt it would be frontloaded. Also notfabios theater reports were terrible.

Well the tracking was very high. It was like 130 before it opened. I lowered my picks thinking it wouldn't do that high but I was still way off. I think tracking did us in there. I don't get Wall-E I thought sure it would drop better than that. Wanted I know I messed up on. I should have saw that huge drop coming.
