Anybody else here about this coming on tonight on CBS? It is going to be 10 different genres including Westerns, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Mysteries, Court Room Dramas, Gangster films, animation, and a few others I forget.
Should be interesting to see what gets picked. I hoping Star Wars and LOTR both win their genres.

A couple of surprises, to me Star Wars should have got #1 over 2001. I was surprised to see that happen. I was also shocked with the epic category, I figured it be between Gone with the wind and Ben Hur but neither grabbed it. Finally, I didn't care for some of the bottom entries in the Fantasy category. I thought some more traditional fantasies like one of the Potter films, or Princess Bride should be on there over Big or Groundhog Day. To me those films are more comedies and aren't really fantasies.

I enjoy most of them. It was cool to see them attempt genres. They did a good job with most. All ten movies in the Sci-Fi category I thought deserves to be there though I feel Star Wars should be #1 in it. I thought they screwed up the fantasy one.

Short answer - No. Those actually change, who would've thought?
