Director John Hillcoat is traversing The Road (http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/films.php?id=1361), a big screen adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's novel. In it, a father and son avoid cannibals and a stragglers against a post-apocalyptic landscape. Actor Viggo Mortensen plays the father, Kodi Smit-McPhee his son and, thanks to Row Three, we've got a production photo of the two in the film. Take a gander below. Dimension releases Road on November 26th.
I've been listening to the audiobook of The Road on and off for a while now, and it's been a great "read" - albeit pretty grim. I'm looking forward to seeing how it translates to the big screen.
