The answer to that better be Sylvannas... :shakefist

If I ever attended a BlizzCon, I'd go as Stormwind's very own Master of Cheese.

:lol The answer was indeed going to be Sylvannas. (Just for YOU, Jen.) :)

BUT... money is an issue at this time, and I may not be able to have the costume made before the time comes. Honestly, I think Joe is still reeling from last years costume cost.

So, while the sketches have been made for the Sylvanas costume (at least I have the make-up and ears for the costume!), and both my seamstress and prop makers have agreed it'd be easy to do, I may need to hold off this year and wait until the next time.

In the meantime, I've got perfectly good $300 (night elf) and $600 (blood elf) costumes I could wear again if I decided to dress up. :p

:p for that price you better wear them more than once!

Although I suppose it wouldn't have to be in public, if Joe is into that sort of thing. ;)

Haha! :lol

Yeah, um, I think that'd be just a tad bit weird for me. o_O

I figure the costume making (unless it's something I can easily throw together like I did for my Cindiana Jones costume (http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a57/Nevlonniel/Costumes/DSCN3883.jpg) for last Halloween [most parts came from Target, so I have been able to reuse them on a regular basis]) will only be done every other year to save on cost.

Besides, putting the Sylvannas costume together and giving myself ample time means I can do some of the pieces myself (couldn't do that before due to time contstraints, so it was easier to just pay someone to do it... I's lazy). :p

I'd be more inclined to go someone not from Warcraft - maybe Tyreal from Diablo or Zeratul from Starcraft. That'd be awesome.

I actually contimplated making the Sorceress (chic in blue) costume from the limited edition Diablo II print titled "Final Stand" (http://www.blizzard.com/us/market/d2-print.html) (by Keith Parkinson).

I think it would be easier to piece together and cost less that Sylvannas might, as she has several leather pieces.

I still may make the sorceress costume, just cause I like it! So... mneh! :mneh

(I love that poster; I have it hung in my entry way. I can only imagine what new-comers to my home must think when they see the 'big guy'. :lol )

Yeah Star Craft and Diablo are much more exciting franchises in the post WOW world.
What about a Sarah Kerrigon or Nova costume?

Oh and McCoy is right a Tyrael costume would be awesome but how would
make those shiny wings?

I like that poster, 'tis muy bien!

And it makes sense too - the women cowering behind the pillar, the meathead barbarian dead on the floor after running in with a big shiny axe, the faffy paladin strolling in like he's got all the time in the world, and...of course...the necromancer doing all the work. :)

By all the work you mean: Offering his head to the Lord of Terror in his brave attempt to become one with his raised entities...
While on the other hand a paladin arrives never late nor early he arrives just in time to...backstab the demon lord so that he can banish his defiling presence from this sacred realm.

:lol Pretty much a good assumption (and definition) of said poster! :)
