"Cmon, Essssssie, let me stay with you!"
The man held the payphone receiver to his ear with a shoulder as he pulled a cigarette seemingly from nowhere. He lit up, taking a long long drag as he listened to the person on the other end of the phone. He grinned.
"Because, I am a lovable scamp. You know you love me, Miss Esme. Yeah, yeah. No stealing, and stay in your room. Got it. Cullens, yeah. I GOT IT ESSIE DAMNIT. I'll see your lovely face after you're done class. Yep, bye."
Rudolph Mitchell hung up the phone, doing a little victory dance as he walked away. A free place to stay, courtesy of his good friend Emse Fenmore and Cullens' Institute.
