I never come into this forum because I'm not a gamer, but I wanted to stop by and post this link to an article in our local paper this morning. People think that video game consoles like the Wii are used only by young people for fun, but they're actually becoming therapy tools as well. I work at a local extended care center, and our activities department recently managed to get a hold of a Wii. It has become a huge hit with some of our long-term residents, and our physical and occupational therapy departments are planning on incorporating it into their therapy routines. A reporter and photographer from the paper came out to do a story about it last week, and here is the result:
