They are finally making this into a movie

The A-Team was one of my favorite shows as a kid I hope they do it right. Singleton is a good choice considering he knows how to direct action. I hope they don't chose Ice-Cube for B.A. I have always considered Ving Rheimes or Michael Clarke Duncan great choices for that character. I would love to see George Clooney as Hannibal but he would never take the part. Maybe they could get Kurt Russell to do it. Not sure about the rest. Murdock will be tough to pick. Face maybe Mathew McConney or maybe Mark Walberg.

I heard the director wasnt Woody Harrelson(sp?) for Murdock.
I think Hollywood needs to stop raping everything awesome from the 1980s and move onto the 1990s instead :)

Yeah I saw that and forgot to mention it. I just wonder if Woody is a little too old for the part. I would go for Jason Lee maybe. I guess Owen Wilson could do it but I am not sure if I want him, he can be very irritating sometimes. I don't mind the A-Team being made into a movie, mainly because I think it would better as a 2 hour movie than lets say Miami Vice.

Woohoo, another old TV show getting a movie. I'm still holding out for A.L.F. and MacGuyver though . :p :lol
It's weird re: the A-Team - I watched the show as a kid, but the only thing I remember is Mr T. :\ I'm gonna have to re-read Wikipedia for a plot summary.

Yeah, but it might also suck. I should write some studios and suggest that they make movies of some classic canadian tv shows from the 80s. Like The Beachcombers or Danger Bay :mischief

Well they got two good people doing it, in Singleton and the writers from 3:10 to Yuma. Singleton has never directed a really bad movie.

Well it might be good - as long as they don't make it into a comedy. :x
Although, if they actually kill the bad guys it'll RUIN everything! :lol I've never watched a show where they shot so many bullets and yet hit nothing. Worse than stormtroopers!

I loved the TV show sooooo - I'll watch it, but I hope it doesn't suck.
I wonder if they're gonna change the A-Team into desert storm vets, just to try and keep up with the times. Bah, I guess we'll see.

Haters of Ice Cube can vacate the premises immediately. Go watch Three Kings and get back to me.
I've been wanting a rehash of the A-Team for a while actually. It was an irreverent and silly show, and I wouldn't mind seeing it done in today's high speed / low drag world :D

So they finally dare to defile this sacred ground...I hope this is not going to suck.
Well it could be a lot worse than Ice Cube:
LL Cool J or 50 Cent could do it...

LMAO! I dunno, LL Cool J was great in Deep Blue. The whole what can I leave the world thing was hilarious.
As for Fifty, I haven't seen any of his movies, so I really can't say.
Yes, Three Kings is wonderful!
And the Family Guy spoof on the A-Team was just gold. Period.

I don't know about this one. I loved this show, but I think it should stay back in the 80s, where it belongs...

Oh, you did NOT suggest 50 Cent for B.A. That was a terrible and awful joke.
The guy can't even do what his profession asks for--rap--and he's an even worse actor.
Ving Rhames, for me.

That was the rumor I heard, that there were going to be veterans of the Iraq war. Didn't say which Iraq war though.
