So I was fairly sick this weekend with some flu-like bug (except for this weird headache that would not leave no matter how many fluids or drugs I flooded myself with.)

Monday seemed to be just fine, but I've relapsed with another bug. This time I have no clue what it is. Swollen glands in the neck, bad chest congestion/cough. At first I thought it was a cold from a weakened immune system due to the earlier bug. But I don't really have any nasal congestion and I do have minor chills. If this doesn't improve by this evening, I'm hobbling across the street to the clinic.

In any case, I don't think I'll be posting within the next few days at least

Aye, this sounds familiar... I'm slugging through week #3 of the same symptoms. It's an irritating sort of nasty flu that seems to break out in variations over a prolonged time....

I had a 101 fever yesterday. Went to the doctor, turns out I have the flu.

A cocktail of meds made it all better :) 24 hours later, only thing still bothering me is a soreness behind my eyes.

I supposedly stop being contagious in 48 hours.

Mmm... miracle of medicine.
