View Full Version : A Spoof Thread

Yes, that's right. Your eyes are not deceiving you. A spoof thread. I was thinking that whenever the funny bug comes upon someone, all they have to do is write it down in a post in the spoof thread, sort of a place where one can have their character/s do silly things without having them affect the general timeline or anything.

An example:

High Inquisitor Valten receives a puppy.

What does he do with this puppy, do you ask? I don't know. He could kill it, true, but I doubt that he would receive a puppy in the normal roleplay in the first place, thus a short and unsatisfying spoof, but a spoof nonetheless. Perhaps to add a twist, there's a note he missed in the basket from Grace-Van-Derveld for a happy birthday; or perhaps from the Inquisitoriate as a whole for just being a great boss.

Another Example:

Adia, Daria, and that other chick (sorry! I'm really tired and don't feel like looking them up, despite the fact it would take less time to do that than it would to type up this extremely long and time-consuming excuse :zzz) suddenly have their fighter stall in the middle of space, and do their own little form of the Lifeboat Skit from Monty Python. Silly, and since it would be in the spoof thread, no harm done to the actual role play! And it could serve as a little respite when one's creative juices are running low.

Whaddaya guys (and gals) think?

Thanks, but from the lack of response, I'm not quite sure how it's received by others. Boo.

You posted at 3 AM EST and are complaining about the response by 4 PM EST.

You haven't given the American contigent a chance to respond.

Wow, it was four? :o Sorry about that. My sleep schedule's pretty messed up. I wasn't really complaining, because this isn't something I really care about, just a sort of idea I was letting out. Sorry if I seemed impertinent.^_^;

"E chu ta!" he whispered/yelled!

"I can't tell if I'm still a guy or girl right now! I wonder if I could..."

"WHHAAAA!!!!!" a Huttlet screamed.

"Meh, I'm a girl."
