When I first saw the headline to this article, I was confused, wasn't sure what it meant...then I saw the picture and read the article, and couldn't help but laugh. Gotta love some people's imaginations!

A few comments have been posted by readers, some of those are kind of amusing too :).

There's only one thing I have to say to that: I want one!

Clearly this is the best desk ever.

I was so prepared to argue until I clicked the link - I'm not anymore. That IS the best desk ever.

Very good, there is still room for improvement however, as someone pointed out:

Of course it's not gonna be threatening in that bright light. Kills the mood. If you want to make it work you gotta tone the light down. Get some ominous music going in the background. and of course, Wear a darth vader outfit. Then you'll get some respect.

I would also add some stormtroopers escorting you into the office. And someone in a Bobba Fett outfit (mandalorian armor) watching ominously in the corner as you sit down..

And there should of course be sound effects, like Darth Vader breathing and Palpatine's evil cackle playing sporadically during the conversation.

Maybe if the hands were, I dunno, cup holders for your pens and whatnot. The non-frozen slave outfit Leia was a good idea, though...;)

Well no - I'd just want a matching chair.... something like the Emperor's, with a handy place for hiding a blaster or lightsaber or something. The chair can make all the ominous noises and play various piece of the SW music, like the Imperial March etc....

Maybe the desk would look even better if it had various prosthetic-hand replacement parts lying around, a hydrospanner....

It would be better if you could customize who was frozen into your desk XD Still awesome though.

Now THAT's a brilliant idea.... if this was your desk at your office, it would make such a nice statement to have it be the last person who dared to oppose you, or your boss.... or the last guy who was boss before you....

"Oh him, that's my ex-husband/wife." was more of what I had in mind >_>; It would make it more...personal lol.

I was just about to say - throw in the Emperor's throne and it would make a sweet office set!!!

That's not the greatest desk ever, IT'S THE GREATEST PIECE OF FURNITURE SINCE TIME BEGAN! If it meant slaving away in the corporate world just to own one, I'd do it.

"If you think this is bad you should see the paper shredder that goes with it."
Um you mean the new Shredder that is a replica of the Sarlac pit??
