Drysk Greyhelm
Feb 20th, 2008, 10:22:47 PM
The nights had begun to get colder on giant world known only as Corellia, letting the minds of the populace focus more on the weather then the actions of two simple figures. It had been only a few nights since Drysk and Daska arrived but already they were closing in on their target. Tonights target was special though at least to Drysk he was, after all how could anyone forget that man who killed his parents. He was young then, most likely in his early teens if even that. His parents though had always been secretive folks, always intrested in things unknown and always diappearing at the worst of times. Regardless he had loved them as any child would given the circumastances, that was of course until they where taken from him. Their deaths had come swift and suddenly much faster then anyone could react to at least, still the image was burned into his youg mind. After years of searching he had finally found the man though, and he would make him pay.
"When we go in I want this swift and efficiant ok? None of your little showboating ok?"
Drysk had of course been speaking to his second in command and lover Daska. He had known her for all of her life and she too shared the revenge he felt, after all it was his Sister.

Tover Ghent. That was his name. Today would be Tover's day of reckoning, Daska would make sure of it.
"'fraid you're barking up the wrong tree, love heart. Tover isn't in there, but I know of a nice explosive present that is. To think, I was going to let you take the lead, well - we both can certainly see what a mistake that was, now can't we?"
The younger of the two siblings, by just one year, craned her gaze away from her pistol, long enough to afford her brother an everlasting smirk.
"Might want to see about finding someone who can dislocate the trigger."
Her brother looked on at her oblivious, to which she gave him a not so subtle look that told him that he needed to get it together.
"Oh c'mon! Don't give me that look! What did you think we were doing when we were spying on his personal communications feed? As well, what did you believe 'the bell tolls at three' meant, big brother?"
Daska flashed her silver pistol around nonchalantly, at long last, chafed.
"I will showoff when and where I please and if I please, and there's nothing that you or anyone else can do about it, including Tover, who by the way, is probably at Treasure Ship Row. He's probably laughing his poor excuse of a behind off at our misfortune, no thanks to your gifted leadership skills. Leave it to a man to never ask for directions - and this is what it gets you - letting the man that killed both of our parents get away scot-free. Congratulations brother, though your genitals are quite big, your little pea sized brain hasn't managed to help us out much today. Maybe you could see to finding your way to plotting us a ride to the Row, hmm? Or am I asking too much of you, love heart?"

Stretching her arms out wide, her back popped in relief as the dishwater blonde looked up into the clear night sky of a chilly Corellia.
"Awooooooo!!!" She howled to the moon in jubilation. A full moon just got the juices going on a night full of anarchy. "Ok, enough of that."
She skipped across the roof and brought out the electrobinoculars to take a peek at her target 30 clicks away, a simple office building. Its owner was a Tover Ghent, a sonuvabitch that had frelled over Black Sun several times and walked away cleanly a couple of years back. He had disappeared without a trace but finally his past had caught up with him in the form of two really angry siblings that were calling for some blood. A little tip to Vigo Kasajian's ear and Kalail had landed in Corellia for some payback.
Kalail was Sorsha's cousin, through her mother's side, and was one of her top Lieutenants. She was stationed on Coruscant to help with the Kasajian Exchange, but this mission needed Kalail's extra special touch.
If her sources were correct, Tover wasn't inside, but a lot of illegal goods were being stored there until tomorrow when they were being transferred off planet.
She looked down at her wrist chronometer, it was 0258, and started to sing a little tune that caught her attention on the vids earlier in the day.
"Walk through the fire ..."
The electrobinoculars were shoved back into their case ...
"Walk through the fire ..."
... and replaced with a remote detonator. She glanced at her wrist one last time as 0300 flashed into view.
"Through the dust and ashes ... While the building crashes!!!"
Wicked was her grin as her finger hit the trigger. Chaos erupted as the proton grenades were triggered in an almost symphonic succession. Kalail raised her arms like a conductor, striking the air with controlled passion as each BOOM rang throughout the district.

:: Tirsa couldn't help but chuckle at her partner. She was a kindred spirit, and quite a bit wilder then Sorsha was. Crouched beside the human, the nebari watched the pretty fires light up the urban landscape ::

It had taken almost all of his willpower for Drysk not to simply roll his eyes at his sisters long barrage of showing off. It had almost seemed as if her plans had differed from his own in the fact that she cared more about making a point then catching their parents killers.
"Well I hope you've enjoyed wasting our time then Sis. Truly you've show me the errors of my ways by leading us even farther from our target. So now would you prefer we go find this place and get the frelling bastard or would you rather sit around and stare at a building that is all but meaningless to us? Hmmmm?"
He could feel himself getting cocky as well but this was too important a mission for him to go showing off. No one knew they where here and as far as he was concerned Tover Ghent would soon not be around either. Just as his thoughts switched to that bastard an explosion knocked him to the ground. He looked on at the charred building ahead of him remembering the words his sister had said.
"Might want to see about finding someone who can dislocate the trigger."
Before he could bring thoughts to words she had already shot him a look of surprise as well, as if this was something new. It came to him almost immediately that if this was not his sisters plot then someone else was behind it, and that was just too much of a coincidence.
"I don't think we're the only ones on his trail Sis.... I only hope your ego hasn't cost us dearly..."
He got up and began to make a dash back the way they came, heading this time in the direction his sister had pointed out to him. There where others on Ghent's trail and he would be damned if they got to him first, not now not after all these years.

The pair had been walking for what seemed like hours when all of the sudden Daska abruptly stopped and turned to her brother.
"He's in that club - and it wouldn't take much of a genius to realize it either. Tover has a load of followers, fans, if you will and many of them seem to be here. If they're here, Tover has to be as well. You'd better go in and look for him, alone. That way, if you do something idiotic like get shot and die, I can infiltrate plan number two. Let's hope you don't, though - or else it won't just be Tover whose going to be sorry. Come back to me safe and well. Oh, and one more thing, Drysk.."
Stepping to him, Daska exchanged to her brother one heck of a whirl wind kiss that was sure as to make him far more cold and without a rhythmic heartbeat than any mere bullet could manage.
".. For good luck.." She managed to share, breathless.

"Hopefully I won't need it..."
Her words still rang in his head as he pulled away from her, switching her touch for one of his blaster. He would need to be cold and quick, he would need to go in and get Tover before the others got to him, he had only one chance and one chance was all he needed.
"Well, see you in a few minutes."
Tucking his blaster back into his holster he made his way towards the doors and entered the club. The place was filled with the banter of meaningless drivel, each person believing they where more important then the last. Even through the sea of people he could see his mark though. Tover stood in the back wallowing in his own self-importance, surrounded by what seemed like at least two bodyguards. Drysk would have to be quick, silen and efficient, sadly he had time for none of these things, so it was time to take his sisters route.
"HEY TOVER, GOT FRELLED YET?"
He had gotten the guards attention before all else and within the blink of an eye two single blaster shots cut through the air, getting his only defenses between the eyes. He could see a long overdue look of terror in Tevor;s eyes as Drysk only saw retribution in his own. Making use of the crowd as both a distraction and as a way of slowing his mark down, he chased Tevor like nothing could stop him. Before long the chase had spilled out into the streets but as luck would have it Drysk had help waiting in the wings. It took only one hit for Daska to knock him to the ground, leaving him nowhere to run and his past came back to haunt him.
"You have a lot to answer for, and I'm gonna enjoy making you talk."
Drysk walked over and picked the sad sack of filth of the ground, placing his blaster to his head. He would talk, or he would die.

The two of them couldn't stick around for too long to admire Kalail's handwork. A charred building, smoldering in red hot metal, wasn't as much fun to watch as it was exploding anyway. Especially when the rush of superheated air ran over you moments after the initial blast.
Five minutes after 0300, the two of them had split and were heading towards a more populated area. Kalail was in the mood for some alcohol and fun, which her partner did not protest.
"I'm thinking Jovian Sunspot at the Red Trap," said Kalail, leading the way. But before Tirsa could answer, her comm buzzed. She pulled on her ear piece and hit a small button to receive. "Rotas here."
Hello. Kkkalail.
"Zak!" She elbowed Tirsa excitedly. Zak was a Vratix, a bug like race. They called him Zak for short because there was no way her human tongue could pronounce his name without offense. "Didja find them?"
Yesss. The ccchildren are in ttthe Pssssycccche Ssshottt. Ttthey found him.
"We're not too far away. Been there in 5." Kalail's child like nature melted away and she was all business. Still, that little twinkle in her eye of mischief couldn't quite disappear.

"So what's the gameplan? We take out Tover, or let them do the work?"

She shrugged as they walked up to the bouncer at the club. "Depends on what's going on when we get there." Kalail stopped as she noticed the influx of people running away from their desired destination, a mix of aliens and humans who looked like general club goers.
"Methinks our guy's been found," she stated with a despondent sigh.

"So let's move!!!" she replied, breaking into a run. A Gran bouncer stood in the way, but the Nebari would have none of it. A stiletto in the eye convinced him to let them pass.

Kalail had this wide open mouth smile on her face as the Gran hit the ground before chasing after the Nebari. "I really love working with you!" she cried out over the commotion.
Her little 5'2" self was having problems scouting out the area for their target, but it was a safe assumption that moving in the opposite direction of the people running would lead them to Ghent.

She had grown impatiant as her lover stopped to question the man who had taken their parents lives, maybe she was giving Drysk too much credit. Having had enough she removed her silver pistol from her holster, not wanting to give Tover another breath. The withdrawal of her gun sent many of the present civilians scattering, Daska didn't give a care about that. She simply wanted Tover dead for the scum that he was.
"Night night, sleep tight, you frelling piece of scum.."
Daska pulled the trigger, but it was not her bullet which sealed his fate for good...

:: The crowd cleared, just in time for Tirsa to see Daska standing over Tover with a pistol. She let the blade in her hand fly, and it struck the barrel of Daska's weapon hard enough to cause a miss ::

Kalail had one eye closed in concentration when she fired her hold out blaster. She caught Tover right between the eyes, and he had this marvelous expression of shock when he died! It was a beautiful moment that Kalail relished for a second before holstering her weapon. "C'mon Blue."
She really didn't care about Daska. The girl and her brother served their purpose in tracking down a piece of dren that needed to die.
