Denarr Sepphist

The mist moved about the girl, curling around her limbs as they stretched up towards the trees; filling her with primal strength. Beads of sweat dripped down her pale face as she growled beneath the strain; the girl's fingers knotting as she forced her senses outwards, allowing her eyes to mark the movement of the haze...

She wore a long dress of black, it's hem ripped and stained with an entire portion missing from it's middle, her bony hips showing through. Long sleeves, separate from the gown and tied to her limbs with string, dribbled at the wrist; exposing thick leather straps Denarr had wrapped, like bandages, about either hand.

Hair whipped about her face as the Miraluka clenched her jaw, ‘feeling out' the strings of magic that clung to every particle and, like a puppet master, tried to jerk the mist into motion. The air ignored her novice skill, yet Denarr was far too focused to give up and thrust her hands forward with a scream; her fingers splayed as she dragged them through the fog...

She felt something inside of her explode, a massive force that escaped through the tips of her fingers and into the world around her. The mist, revived by the ‘magic’, swirled beneath her hand; the Miraluka’s eyes damp with passion as she began to move her limbs... Like fingerpaint, the haze rolled and mixed together, building in layers until she managed to form a tube with a broken, half open mouth.

Move.

Her teeth bit into her lip as she removed her hands; those long digits trembling at her sides.

Move!

She snarled and struck her work, forcing it to coil up and open it’s daggered mouth; letting loose a forked tongue to hiss and taste the air. A serpent, made of mist and magic. It slithered mid-air about the triumphant girl, three times her size and unbelievably crude. Not bad for her first attempt...

“You’re beautiful...” she held out a hand to stroke the creatures back, her fingers falling through the haze. Denarr could hardly believe it, apparent enough by the tired, perfect smile set upon her pale lips..

“I made you, you know that?"
