I had a dream where I was waiting for the bus. Except, instead of the bus saying "RUISLIP | 331" on the front, it had "MEDIAN | 73".

Median73 is my fucking password for the computer system at work. :grumble

I had one of the weirdest dreams I've had in a long time...

I dreamed that I was lying in bed curled up with a special someone, but the dream version of me, was then dreaming about our wedding day.

Except it was all bizzare, like none of our friends were there, I don't even remember my family being there, but people who I know randomly through work or friends of friends, and so forth were all there, but my brain had aged them like 10 years.

Was very odd... More on the dreaming about being in bed and dreaming, then the wedding part.

I had two dreams:

First, I was on a council estate in a car with my mum and some charvs were hurling bricks at the car window. We abandoned the car but I forgot to pick up my backpack which had my Nintendo 3DS in it. I woke up terrified (for my 3DS).

Then I dreamt I was in some kind of Dickensian version of Newcastle, where I was some sort of butler/servant for Dame Maggie Smith.

I flew home (without the kids) only to find that my gran had rearranged my furniture, notably boxing up my laptop and replacing it with my dead grandfather`s ancient desktop. When I expressed my displeasure she got very upset but as it turns out it didn`t matter because then slavers came and picked me up, knocking me out by hitting me in the face repeatedly with the butt of a rifle.

When I came to I was in the back of a canvas-covered truck, very thirsty. I was told that my younger brother had exchanged by life for that of his unborn child`s but that it was okay because they weren`t going to hurt me. Someone handed me an almond butter `n` quince jame sandwich that my gran had made for me before they took me away and we drove to Victoria Falls, where the secret base was.

I don`t really remember the rest but my survival depended on solving ridiculous puzzles, like a giant rubiks cube; I got the impression that if I didn`t the falls would dry up and everyone in the world would somehow be effected. :?

The last dream I had inspired this (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21806) thread, replacing Felix with myself. If this is representative of how my dreams would've been for the past few months, I'm so happy that I've stopped dreaming.

I had a dream I was drinking wine with a bunch of people, and for some reason Charley, Christen, and Jenny where there, and Jen got wasted. It was one of those weird dreams that transitions all over the place and the wine drinking was just one part of it, but the only one I remember clearly because it was so weird for those three to be there in it.

We got home from drinking in Paris at about half-1 this morning. I drempt that at half-five, my boss (Vincent) burst into my room in a blind panic, because someone was after him and he needed me to deliver the presentation at today's meeting - "You know - the one about the 'Big Rock' projects."

Being half asleep, I had no idea what he meant, and assumed he meant a presentation on big 'Rock' projects. I couldn't think of a reason why he'd want me to deliver a presentation on statues or architecture, but knowing how much he likes to burst into song, I assumed it was about music, so I prepared a 25-minute presentation on ways in which rock music could provide key insights for the way in which the Procurement division operates.

I spend the day surrounded by awesome people and gorgeous Parisian ladies, and my brain decides to make me dream about work. >_<

And my boss. :uhoh

My dad was old, old, old and he was in the hospital. I went to visit him but he didn`t know who I was and he kept saying these horrible things, things he`d done as a young man that were just awful. No matter what I said he couldn`t recall any of us kids, it was like we`d never existed.

And then I got a call that this was it so I went in and suddenly it was the same room that my stepmum died in and he just looked like a shell, laying there in the dark, barely breathing. So I lay on the bed beside him and after a moment I felt his hand on my cheek and I looked over and he was staring at me and he smiled and said, "There you are." And then he breathed out and that was it: he was dead.

It was so depressing! I don`t want to go back to bed. :(

It wasn't last night, it was Saturday night (or by the time I went to bed, Sunday morning). I'd watched the Britain's Got Talent final, and later on I'd put my mum's Take That album onto my iPhone to listen to in bed.

I dreamt I was a contestant on Britain's Got Talent as a singer. I sang Shine for my audition, got through to the semi-finals, sang Greatest Day, then got to the final and sang Shine again. During the part where they sorta find out about the contestants background and whats gone on in the week for them, Ant and Dec highlighted the fact that I'd had some trouble in the week. I told them that was true and that'd I'd been jumped one night walking home. I had a black eye. Dec asked if the make-up guys tried to cover it. I said they had but it looked shit so I just keft it and said people would just have to see it and deal with it. I said "I shoulda changed the words to Shiner I guess."

I woke up at that point laughing to myself, and also checked my eye wasn't actually black.

I dreamt that I was surprising this forum's Peter McCoy with a visit prior to his wedding. He and his fiancee were ecstatic I dropped by, only his parents weren't too keen on it. They kicked me out of their house, which is where everyone was hanging out, and I decided to find someone to stay the night in the UK with (since I was there only for the weekend). For some reason, Danika was living there at the time and she offered to let me stay/hang out with me for the night so I wouldn't be alone. She had to take a shower first, though, so I crashed on the couch for a bit and then woke up.

I was lying on the top bit of a bunk bed, and the person underneath kept poking the mattress. I got so frustrated that I climbed down the ladder, and lo and behold, it was Liz (:shakefist).

Turns out she was kicking the mattress - when I asked why, she explained "Because I have no arms. Duh."

I can't remember the specifics of why she had no arms, but it had something to do with airport security and hand luggage... :uhoh

Even the next day, this still gets me.

My dream last night started with me overhearing a conversation between a coworker and her husband. They had a child who was suffering a debilitating disease as a result of an animal attack. She was going to die, and the husband had made a device that would allow him to go back in time to stop things.

He used it and time changed. Because I was in the presence of the device, I somehow absorbed something that kept my consciousness intact. My body was different, though - something about the way time had changed had caused me to take fitness and martial arts extremely seriously. I had stupid eyebrows too. But the worst part was my brother.

Physically, he was still the same Jeff. But instead of being confident and outgoing, he was quiet and reticent. I got the sense that something had happened that I had protected him from and so he'd taken to relying on me to guide him through everything in life. He couldn't do anything on his own. This was wrong and I had to fix things and get the real Jeff back. However, I started hearing church bells ring and I found a flier that spoke of a church service. Apparently, the attempt to fix the past had gone wrong and instead of just contracting a disease during the animal attack, the girl had died and so had her mom.

Intuitively, I somehow knew the husband had become a broken shell, dedicated to traveling back into the past again to fix things. I didn't know how much time I had, but I set out trying to find him and my brother came with me. Night came and we were walking along a road when suddenly a gust of wind blew by and a brightly lit gas station disappeared, leaving only dark forest. I knew time had changed again and when I looked, my brother was gone. My mind was still the same again, though, and somehow I knew he'd never existed; that I'd grown up without him and he'd never been here at all.

The sheer horror of that possibility coming to be woke me and I couldn't sleep for two hours afterwards.

I dreamt that I was surprising this forum's Peter McCoy with a visit prior to his wedding.

That's epicosity right there!

Haha, I'll have to see if I can't swing a UK visit before you get married, if for no other reason to say hi, introduce myself, and buy you a celebratory beer. :)

No, although I never did get a chance to see why Dani was in London. Maybe the two of you moved to different places and you kept the chihuahua as a memento of your time together.

I will add, Dani wore a light blue dress that I did not consider Dani-like and I remember it very vividly. It was one of those two-piece deals like you see people wear at the beach: a strip to wear over the boobs and a light fabric dropping from the waist to the feet, but cut diagonal from the left knee to the right lower leg.

The other night I dreamt that there was a bomb scare, or a shooting, or some sort of awful terrorist thing going down in work, and everyone ran. It was pretty scary, but somehow I ended up back in the evacuated building, walking around with my mum. She was asking me about dinner, despite the imminent threat of death, and I was too afraid and freaked out to contribute towards the discussion. She carried on regardless, and remarked that we didn't have anything for desert, so with a smile she grabbed some donuts and a packet of icing, and started making something right there. It was so surreal, and yet it was so comforting, just watching her and all at once I was a child again, and as long as my mum was with me, I was completely safe. It was the most wonderful feeling.

Worst. Sahara. Ever.

I dreamt that a nuclear bomb detonated in the city centre. I was at home with my family when we saw a flash of light and I told everyone to get down on the floor. There was all this shaking and a roaring sound as we crawled to the cellar door. The next thing, the wall separating the back kitchen from the back yard is not there but its always been like that apparently, like an open plan thing, and there are people outside scared of the rain.

I dreamed it was today and I worked all day (which I`ll be doing) and as soon as my shift was over I checked my mobile ESPN and... oh god, the Bruins had won the cup.

I distinctly remember this blinding whiteness that filled my vision, blocking everything but the score on the screen, and the sound of a stiff rushing wind filling my ears. There was a sense of despair that was just unmanageable.

Woke up all twisted in my sheets and terribly anxious about the game today. =(

Last night, there were people trapped in my basement (I don't have a basement) and they were fighting molerats, but rather than helping them I decided it was prudent to go outside and find some Nuka-Cola instead. And when the alarm went off for work, in my very groggy state I innitially believed that I could get more time in bed if I just loaded an earlier save, and then I realised the save game option is unavailable in real life.

Or maybe you just really needed the toilet, and your sadistic subconscious picked the most water-orientated thing it could find? :mneh

I've been having a lot of half-awake dreams lately, as well as freaky vivid stuff that I wake up from with sleep paralysis. Some of the super-vivid dreams have been kind of awesome though - in one of the only ones I remember, I think I was Sheriff Carter from Eureka (or someone similar, anyway), and the place we were in was being plagued by a swarm of mutant bees.

Except they weren't bees. Instead of stingers, they had syringe type things that sucked your blood like a mosquito. And instead of normal bee heads, they had praying mantis heads and arms... but they tucked their arms over their heads when they flew so that we thought they were just mosquito-bees.

Don't remember much else, aside from the fact that someone issued a quarantine alert type thing that sealed all the windows and exits, but didn't take into account the fact that the praying mantis mosquito-bees could crawl under the doors. :ohno

It wasn't last night, but the night before that, where I dreamt of every single non-related woman I have ever remembered meeting. There were other parts to the dream too (some almost unfortunately non-explicit), but mostly I remember just the sheer number of women in the dream.

Some only featured in short little scenes, others I think were only mentioned. But if I remember correctly I was having a conversation with one of the girls, things got a bit steamy before she shot me down exactly as she did in the waking world, and from there the conversation drifted to other girls.

At some point, some of them may have become giants.

I had a dream that involved going camping, a girl that used to be my friend and then totally hated me for a while, and Mark/DT. AND Jason Momoa.

The Jason Momoa part was the best.

Oh, and there were guard lions.

The basics of this very complicated dream were that a bunch of people were going to go camping and we were having a big convoy to the campsite. We were stopping off to pick up this girl, and it turned out that Mark had visted her and totally made her spitting mad and she'd called the cops on him and was refusing to go camping with us. Prior to this I'd spent some time in her house with my younger brother when no one was home and I'd left some stuff behind.

Anyway she was mad, and the group went on without her OR Mark, who, having had been a right bastard was being shunned (*or perhaps the police had him, who knows!). Then after we got to the place we were going I hopped in a car and drove back to Nikki's house. When I got there she'd gotten some guard lions to help her feel safe. I dont' know what Mark did, but apparently it was bad, lol.

We chatted for a while and then I was going to go home but my car had gotten blocked in the driveway by the neighbors who were having some sort of medical emergency next door. So Nikki and I were out by the street talking some more and peeking at her across the street neighbor, Jason Momoa (who apparently I had met at some point prior). He was doing some carpentry in the front yard, lol, because he was fixing up his house.

At some point he decides he's going for a jog down the street, I wave at him, and he recognizes me and comes over to say hi. We all talk for a while and then I decide I need to get going so I can catch up with the rest of my group. There is some discussion about the freeways I should be taking, and then I get in my clunker of a car and leave, only to go the wrong way on the freeway and so I turn a U turn in the middle of it and get going the right direction.

FIN.

I dreamt that I called Einstein out of hell (?) and asked him to help me make some sort of presentation. After dousing him with water, we went to work in the library, but he was published in too many magazines, so someone (the city, I think?) attempted to sue him. He lost heart and was about to go back into hell, when I gave him some inspirational and pleading speech about how much I needed his help.

The speech did the trick. And for the next few days, we did as much as possible, while I realised that I had been skipping a class for the entire semester, and was going to fail anyway.

It was finally time for me and Einstein to make our presentation, so we headed out with our gypsy wagon to the Daily Show studio, where we engaged Jon Stewart in a song and dance and made our presentation, which was pretty much just me making a few observations and then asking Einstein a question and then going back to me for a while. President Obama was there, with a pair of those UN translator headphones on for much of the presentation.

The presentation was a success. Einstein was no longer such a troubled soul, and we parted ways.

Then I woke up.

A stampede of forest animals ran past the obligatory snowed-in installation sending everyone, including the guards/sentries(?) hiding so they wouldn't get crushed to death. It's feasible that Bill Murray orchestrated the stampede.

There's more, but I can't really remember it.

I had a series of bizarre/awesome dreams last night. My favorite was something like what would happen if you crossed Left 4 Dead with Assassins Creed and Mirrors Edge. I was part of a small group of people living in the centre of a meltdown of society/zombie apocalypse. We had taken over an abandoned building, which we accessed by a series of seemingly innocent looking trapdoors, hidden hatches and roof access points.

After running out for supplies, we spotted a woman about to become over-run by the zombies. We dragged her in to our building, thinking we could hide/help her, but then she started freaking out/showing the first signs of infection, so we had to bolt into one of the hidden wall access panels and make for the rooftop. (We had destroyed the stairs, so that no one would be able to get above the ground floor unless they knew about our secret pathways or had great climbing abilities.)

There was an awesome point when we were running across roof tops, using some kind of hook devices to slide along what I guess were telephone lines to move quickly from one building to another. I was seriously disappointed when I woke up!

Another bizarre dream last night. Some kind of Thelma & Louise scenario staring me and Sarah, but we had a speeder instead of a car.

Just woke up from a dream which involved a monkey in a spacesuit and a dancing polar bear fighting off a load of angry martians in a shopping trolley. It was hilarious at first, and then both the monkey and the bear died bloody deaths which left me very sad indeed. :(

I had a dream where I had the ability to turn invisible and some government looking man sprayed me with some liquid and I exploded. This was on Thursday.

I drempt that I was part of a Fry & Laurie / Two Ronnies / Morcombe & Wise style comedy duo with one of my friends. We were getting interviewed by Mitchell & Webb on a chat show of some description, and I said something along the lines of "I'm the obligatory fat one that all good comedy double-acts have."

It made David Mitchell very upset. :(

This morning after hitting the snooze on my alarm I dreamed that I was up and getting ready to go to Olivia's appointment.

Then Ty came in and woke me up and I had to do it again, for reals. *sigh*

I dozed off with one of my feet in a bucket of cold water last night (for medical reasons, not weird ones), and had a Bioshock-themed nightmare.

I woke up in a leaking part of Rapture, with absolutely no idea how I'd got there. It started out as a fairly typical walking down corridors type dream, only they were underwater corridors... but after picking up a radio and getting directions from the Irish guy, and being forced to ram a honking great needle in my arm (I hate needles), it all went a bit weird and - like most of my nightmares - I ended up getting chased by velociraptors.

It ended with a twisted recreation of one of the last scenes in Jurassic Park, where the velociraptors attack the t-rex... only the t-rex was a giant Big Daddy, and instead of the lobby of the Jurassic Park visitor's centre it happened in the opera house from Battlestar Galactica.

reading this thread ensures me I'm not alone...

at one point in my dreams the other night I became a rock-a-billy suicide girl vampire and rampaged about the countryside on a blazing road hog a la ghost rider style wearing jeans, black converse all stars, a green plaid flannel shirt with a white wife beater tank.

I think we were hunting hippies.

The combination of Dark Banana and Star Trek VI last night led to a particularly strange dream.

On orders from Starfleet, Captain Kurth Halx and his crew travel to the Neutral Zone to escort a Klingon diplomatic envoy to Earth for peace talks. However, when the Klingon ship is seemingly attacked by Halx's ship and Ambassador Oddlybird is killed, the Captain and Doctor Tim find themselves the lead suspects in his assassination.

While Halx and Tim stand trial, the Vulcan first officer assumes command and - with the aid of communications officer Saidra, chief engineer Rhone Banhammer, and Russian tactical officer Glen Fiddich - sets out to prove the Captain's innocence.

Other members of the campaign made appearences too, such as Captain Ravenmouth of the USS Excelsior (who at a vital moment came to our heroes' aid) and General Kunibald who, despite his fantastic facial hair and his affinity for quoting Shakespeare, turned out to be an evil bastard overall.

My subconscious does strange things. :cyduck

Weird dream yesterday. Dreamed a cataclysmic event of some kind temporarily slowed down the Earth's rotation, throwing everything and everyone not bolted to the ground into outer space, leaving a virtual ghost planet behind. Somehow, I was one of the survivor's left on the surface, having to lay on the ground for several weeks in order to not suffocate since the atmosphere and oxygen supply had been largely stripped away. Eventually I learned that there were about 250 survivors scattered across the planet, and the dream ended with some of us gathering together to start a new village, watching nightly meteor showers and wonder in sadness if our deceased relatives, friends, and loved ones were having their final send off by burning up into the healing atmosphere.

I dreamt that I was escaping or engaged in a struggle with my friend's dark Jedi character on Star Wars, Volumvax. One of the only moments I can remember is my Kirk-esque scream: "VOLUMVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAX!"

We've been talking about taking a family Christmas vacation up to Montana this year, so last night I dreamt that my family and I had boarded some strange jetliner where we had 1st class seats, which were in the rear section of the plane, with lots of carpeting with nice seats with a lot of leg room, and we were told it would be a nineteen hour flight. I had the use the restroom really bad, but instead I drifted off into a sleep, where I dreamt that we were on a Southwest Airlines 747 that developed engine trouble and crashed into a field in the middle of Pennsylvania. Upon waking up the airliner was descending and we reached our vacation destination, which we were all excited to be at; The Solomon Islands. Thus ends the dream. :|

I've been having boring ass dreams lately. One of the last ones was that I had to go from one end of the plant to the other to get my tax papers which were for some reason being stored in the yarn coating department. I bored myself awake with that one.

My friend and I were listening to music and I asked him which band was playing. He didn't really know, but guessed a few times, until the announcer set us straight: "NEW X".

Also, another part of the dream I was back in elementary/middle/junior high school playing soccer against my brother. There was a girl who was playing on my team but was a bit shy and had confidence issues, so I was trying to get her ready to play. "Are you trying to ask me out?" she finally asked, "Because you keep saying 'we' and 'us'."

I hadn't realized it, but I was speaking Japanese and saying 'we' and 'us', which was apparently more involved or romantically inclined than 'you and me', something that I don't think holds any water in the waking world.

The next day I went to high school and apparently spent all my time in the library. I had to clean up the place and was scolded for putting the books back where I thought they went instead of where they were.

I just drempt I was watching a girl play a fully-interactive virtual-reality post-apocalyptic Batman game. I could see everything that was going on, and she could see me, but no one else could: it was like I was Ziggy from Quantum Leap. To me, she looked kinda like Jessica Alba from Dark Angel, but to everyone else she apparently looked like a six-foot Batman.

I don't remember much about the plot... I just remember running around them yelling "Heal, heal damn it!" and "Use the Batclaw! Get to the rooftops!" There were some bits with abandoned subway stations, and Bruce Wayne advised everyone to move into the West Street station because the gangs hadn't taken over the tunnels near there... and the subway trains were all controlled by computers.

Also, I think Alfred was a dog. It was very weird.

Okay. This one was bloody vivid, and extremely weird.

For some reason we were putting on some sort of variety show type thing for my niece's birthday. Somehow I got roped in to coordinating Cheryl Cole's backing dancers (my niece likes Cheryl Cole), which involved me being sat in my old physics classroom with a bunch of really irritating and pretentious "artists", all of whom where prancing around in tracksuits and generally being disagreeable. There was some sort of argument about who went to the best drama school... I don't really remember much of the specifics, but I did end up threatening a guy with way too much product in his hair with a lit bunsen burner, which seemed to solve things.

After that, things started to get weird. I was walking down corridors that were sort of like the opera house from Battlestar Galactica, and I bumped into my sister who for some reason was a government agent instead of a tax accountant. I was frankly confused when my sister started spewing out pseudo military type instructions and scientific techno-jargen: I'm pretty sure that 90% of the words she said were absolutely not in her vocabulary. Her partner was there too, who now I think about it looked kind of like the guy from The 4400, which actually explains a lot.

Anyhow. I stopped my sister to ask what the hell was going on, and she looked at me like I was a crazy person, doing that weird lifting your eyebrows to look into your eyes that people do in TV shows when they think you've been brainwashed. Once she was convinced I was not whatever it is she thought I might be, she gave me a gun (doubly weird, this being the UK), and told me "They're coming for my daughter. I need you to keep her safe." I suggested cancelling the party, but apparently that wasn't an option... and, extra weird, she constantly referred to Eloise as "her daughter", and not by her name.

So, I'm walking around this opera hall type thing, and it suddenly dawns on me that I'm wearing a suit. Well, I say suit - the shirt was dark and I had no tie, but it was a sort of suit type thing. And that was weird, because I was pretty sure I hadn't been wearing a suit earlier. I eventually found my niece in a dressing room, and she was sat there just looking in a mirror. I did the whole gun down back of trousers thing that badass suit-wearing people do on TV and went over to check she was okay.

She turned around, and in a creepily grown-up voice told me:

"Bad things are about to happen, Uncle Jason. You need to wake up now."

I have been freaked out all day. :ohno

I am having a lot of dreams lately. :uhoh

I was walking through a deserted car park, when I heard a woman in distress. I charged in to rescue her, and found Nathan Fillion threatening her with a shotgun. I tackled the guy, knocked his gun away, and kept him occupied long enough for her to flee to the stairs before I followed. Nathan was damn fast though, and had got his gun back. I managed to wrestle it off him, but got a few pellets in the ankle in the process. I shot Nathan Fillion in the chest and he went down... but he was some kind of zombie or vampire or something. In the end I had to kung fu kick him out of a fifth story window.

Jace, if you ever shoot Nathan Fillion again and may it even be in your dreams. I promise you I will hunt you down feed you to a group of starving Firefly Fans/Reavers.

Next time you see Nathan Fillion threaten inocent people, you will walk up to him and ask him if he needs more ammo or a bigger gun. Understood?!

And BTW Nathan Fillion can't die because he is too occupied being awesome.

It's his own stupid fault. He should have just invited me to come film some Castle... since everything is better with Jace, that's pretty much the only way they could possibly improve on such an awesome show. ;)

Had another work dream :x This time I was pulling a double, and was getting parts for a bunch of people.

Woke up to my phone ringing; my supervisor wanted to know if I want to come in early. That's not the funnest wake-up call after a work dream :( Now I'm sitting here, eating an apple, and contemplating going in at 11.
