View Full Version : Stupid Dorm Pranks

Ok, sorry, very unhappy and have to rant for a bit and get it out of my system. Some EXPLICATIVE person(or people) had the bright idea of pitching a smoke-bomb on the third floor of our wing in the dormitory. Of course setting off the alarm, and filling the halls with old-as-EXPLICATIVE dry fire retardent (that is still currently floating through the top two floors of the building (3rd and 4th).
Of course I've been out in the city most of the day and for once I'm turning in early on a friday. All cozy in bed and BEEP BEEP BEEP "THERE HAS BEEN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, PLEASE EXIT THE BUILDING"...or something to that extent.
Groan and moan my way out of bed, open the door, and low and behold the hallway is filled with smoke and fire retardent and all fire doors are securly sealed. So of course dash down the stairs and pile into the courtyard with every other resident wondering WTF just happened? And freezing in T-shirts and boxers/pjs..........in our oh so wonderful 10 degree Minnesota winter.......and it is snowing.
I'm still breathing in freaking chemicals.
NOT HAPPY
Swear filter is impeding my rant.

I think in this case we can excuse it :|

Do you like revenge? How comfortable are you with stretching legality?

I don't know what Charley has in mind, but I bet if it were food, it would taste delicious.

Oh, yeah. Too bad we don't have clue who the heck did it.

Well thats where patience and keeping your mouth shut come into play. The psychology of things like this make it very hard for the perpetrator to keep his mouth shut indefinitely.

Oh I'm one heck of a vindictive person. You don't want to know what I've done to people who have *bleeped* me over. If you want advice once you find out who did it, come find me. :evil

This is why I'm glad I live in New Mexico. The extent most people go to here is to bolt a green toilet to the top of the clocktower on campus...

Yea, some people are stupid.
I'm sure we had a lot of pranks that went down back in school, but nothing of that magnitude.
I think the worst one we did was fill the doorway to a dorm room all the way up to the top with soda cans. And a number of things including duct tape.
And one including a ninja turtle action figure that was suppose to swoop down on my unsuspecting roommate. "Why are you reading? Why is Homer on the chair? ...Why is Leo hanging from the ceiling?" That failed miserably. :(

We don't really have good pranks.
Though, a few engineers at our school did manage to turn the Hudson river into a broadcast antenna for our school's radio once...
Erm, I don't think that one was a prank, though.
The school was banned from having a radio station for a while after that.

I heard some seniors in highschool got suspended for filling a hallway with bouncey balls which ended up making it so they couldn't go to their prom. Parents sued cuz the senior prank is tradition.

That's a beautiful senior prank. :D My favorite was a senior class a few years ahead of mine decided to turn everything upside down in their favorite (and everyone elses' favorite) teacher's room. They even went so far as to rearrange books and rewrite the chakboards to match.

I've been told of senior pranks at my old high school such as:
-Removing the entirety of the principal's office and restructuring it on the roof.
-Deconstructing the principal's vehicle and putting it back together in the lobby.
Stuff like that is way better than toilet-papering and such. I was still pretty shy in my senior year in high school. I didn't participate in the pranks.

Ah, those are classics. :D My dad was involved in doing both of those at his old high school. :) Sporking the football field is also a good one.
