Well, that's unexpected. Pretty dissapointing that Darth Vader is only available on the PS3.

I think I need to go search Ebay for a copy of 'Masters of Teras Kasi' on PSX. That was a fun game. And SC4 looks great. Might just get it for the PS3.

I haven't actually had the pleasure/misfortune (whichever!) of playing it, to be honest. I just don't seem to remember hearing anything stellar about it. What was it like? Who could you play as?

Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Thok (a Gamorrean guard), Hoar (a tusken raider), and Arden Lyn. you could also unlock Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper. There were also secret characters - Leia in her slave outfit, Mara Jade and Jodo Kast.

If I remember rightly, there were alternate costumes for some, if not all, characters. Luke was available in either his Empire Strikes Back greyish-lilac clothes or his Return of the Jedi black attire.

It was a fun beat-em up in the style of Tekken. But some characters were ridiculously overpowered. For example, Luke's lightsaber was nowhere nearly as effective as Han's blaster. Han even had a special move where he fired 5 shots into the air (they went off screen) only to rain down on the other player and inflict massive damage. And Thok had a ridiculously easy move (I think it was just DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN) which caused hom to grow twice his size. Do it whilst fully-grown and he would then emit a powerful flame attack that was (I think) unavoidable.

Aside from this, I had a lot of fun with the game.

Gimicks is a start, I hope they release this on the wii or else they'll of missed the gimik train.

I'm not that excited, but the news is interesting. Maybe this will finally get me back into the series.
