Around these parts, Carnival really begins on November 11th, at 11:11am. But the processions and parties don't really start until mid-February. Some towns decide to have processions in the evening, however, so today was one of those in my region. I'm going to have a few pictures up in a short while.

Ehhh... Saturday night I was at that nasty theme-party that I mentioned a while ago (the one where everyone had to dress up as a p...star). Didn't start until 9 and I forgot to eat because I was too busy trying to put together my costume.

Had 3 pint cups of bubbly (some cheapo champagne I think), then switched to bacardi&coke (another 3 pint cups full), had about 6 shots of whisky with an old friend, 2 shots of vodka, and 2 somethings in a shotglass that was made of green jelly and absinth and the rest I DO NOT remember.... in fact, everything after that was a bit blurry.... lots of people claiming to be swiss-american for some reason... danced for 2 hours with some crazy fireman who kept making indecent suggestions... I might have smoked something, too, at some point but I only heard that from someone .... not quite sure how we got to my friend's house at half 6 in the morning.... and I still feel hungover now.... blech!

Olde English is something I remember spilling. Oh yes. There was much spilling with Olde English. Jose Cuervo and I have a strained relationship. Strangely vodka (Stolichnaya) is among the only hard liquor that I haven't had a bad experience with. I mostly drink beer, because, like me, its fo' chillin' wit da homies.
