Did anyone else catch the premiere episode of the new American Gladiators last night?

Man oh man this show is so awesome. Its on again tonight, and Monday is its regular day, so be sure to catch it. :eee

I usually hate reality shows with a passion, but I LOVED the original American Gladiators show, so I had to watch it. Hated the fact that they had THREE commercial breaks within the first 25 minutes, and Hulk Hogan is a sexist pig. Plus it was unintentionally funny that one contestant and one gladiator hurt themselves within the first 20 seconds of their first events.

But boy oh boy, was I ever feeling nostalgic last night, and I'll watch it again tonight. My favorite event has always been Assault, but I conked out before they played it last night. So I hope they play it again tonight.

Oh, and Hellga is a crack-up. :lol

Wolf is going to get really old, REALLY fast. But I'm glad Titan is back. Man, that guy didn't age a day...

I like Wolf! And Hellga is probably the only female gladiator that keeps up to the oldies of the previous show. The others either are still too new to judge yet or they really aren't as strong as the old gladiator femmes!

Heh, I'm not sure all the previous female gladiators were really female. I mean, yikes...

At least now most of the females actually look like women. :p

I've seen Crush before on Showtime... I think its Showtime... on their Sport Fight events. She's an awesome mixed martial arts fighter. :thumbup

And I sort of like Wolf too. He injects a little more personality into the show than some of the other gladiators. :p

I am sooo guilty. I didn't think I would watch.

My gf loves Deal or No Deal, however...and the tv was left on the channel. At first i thought...oh jeez...but I started watching in pure curiosity at how awful it might be.. 1 hour later I was still watching....

Ohhh I wonder if this means the UK version is coming back! We still watch repeats of that in my house... what a show. The comedy value is never-ending.

I can't for the life of me bring myself to watch this show. It just seem so ... well, stupid. All I can think when I see the commercials are "roid freaks" It's just too gimmicky for me to get into.

It's almost shameful to admit, but that's exactly why I enjoyed watching it. ^_^; I love how stupid and over-the-top it is. It makes me laugh a lot. :D
