My mom gave me her Nintendo DS and two games, one of the Zelda ones(too lazy to check which one) and FF12. I was wondering what other games RPG wise are good. I don't go for fighting or racing games. I only like RPG games. Anyone play anything good?

I love the Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, and I just got FFXII today. So far so good.
I normally go for RPG games as well, but with the DS, RPGs are honestly wasted. The only other good one I've played is Mario and Luigi Partners in Time. That's amazing.
My other games include:
Orcs and Elves (RPGish)
Star Wars Lethal Alliance
Hotel Dusk Room 215
Transformers: Decepticons
New Super Mario Bros (AMAZING)
Final Fantasy 3
Elite Beat Agents
StarFox Command
Mario Kart DS

I personally like the games where you actually USE the touch screen - I play Animal Crossing a ton, Elite Beat Agents, the Rub Rabbit games (Waaaaaaaay too fun) and Cooking Mama.
Trace Memory was the first game I bought, and it was decent. I want to get that Hotel Dusk game, because it looks similar. Oh, and Touch the Dead, which I havent been able to find :mad

Is Hotel Dusk like Resident Evil? I may suck at those kind of games, but I LOVE the horror genre.

I actually have not taken it out of the box yet. Heh. I'll get to it one of these days.
Though I'm not sure if it is like Resident Evil at all. I'm not really sure what it's like.

I got myself Children of Mana and Final Fantasy 3 when I went to the mall yesterday, nothing else there from the lists given. Imma order TOuch the Dead when I can afford it. But i looked online and saw they are going to bring Vandel Hearts to DS. YAY! I loved that game from playstation. I cant wait.

I have Brain Age 2, Luminous Arc, and Rune Factory, the two latter of which are really fun games.

This, this, this, THIIIIIIS!!!
Phantom Hourglass is hands down the best game on the nintendo DS. Heck, it's probably the best handheld game ever, with the competition 5 miles behind. Check what Zelda game you got from your mom before you go any further.

That's the only Zelda Game for the DS. So chances are she has it. I'm playing it through again with my little cousin. He loves that game. ^__^

I got myself Touch the Dead!!! YAY! Haven't opened it yet, I just got back from the mall and I'm tired. I spent what change I had left from buying the game playing DDR for the first time in the arcade. Im better at it in the arcade than I am at home cuz of that stupid soft pad.

Hotel Dusk, brought up earlier, is basically an interactive mystery novel. It's extremely well done, but don't get it if you don't like reading. (It's actually held like a book by the spine, which is neat) You take notes, solve puzzles and try to solve the mystery.
For RPG-Style games for the DS you're best off with Pokemon and Digimon, I got Digimon World: Dusk for my birthday, and I'm quite enjoying it. I've had my eye on Children of Mana for a while, as well.
Let's see, I also recommend Puzzle Quest, a LOT. It's a bejewelled-style puzzle game wrapped around an RPG storyline/concept.

I'd prefer Pokemon over Digimon. o_O I always felt like Digimon was a rip off of Pokemon. I used to be one of the hardcore pokemon fans when I was younger lmao Of course I outgrew it though.... lol I am 24!

PuzzleQuest has intrigued me. I think I want it, but never get it.
