Is anyone else waiting until this, the very last minute, to START their Christmas shopping? :eek We get paid TOMORROW, so my hubby is doing the bulk of our shopping on Christmas Eve while I'm working!

I'm trying to get my shopping for him done today (am taking a break before I consider actually hitting the mall :x), but seriously this is the most unprepared I've ever been for Christmas this late in the game. We did do some shopping a few days ago for family members at Target, and I wrapped up most of that stuff last night, but I'm really feeling the pressure!

Add to that I'm battling a cold :duel and this is perhaps the least holiday-spirit filled Christmas ever. :(

All I have to get tomorrow is wrapping paper.. But, I do fear a tube duel in the checkout lane may be inevitable...:p

I've bought and wrapped everything. I got most of it done on Friday, since I get paid mid-month. A couple of my friends went shopping this weekend though and said it was hell... so many men frantically trying to find gifts at the last minute :lol

My little sister and I are going out tomorrow to finish everything up. Mostly little stuff since the 'big' presents are all taken care of. Mom better like that $700 couch dammit :grumble

I finished my shopping last weekend fortunately. Wrapped everything this past week, so I'm all set, just have to load everything in the car and drive a couple hours tomorrow.

I have done the "wait until the last minute" thing in the past however. I'm trying to not ever do it again.

After the last couple of years, I have enough karma to allow me to point and laugh a little. This year is making up for a whole load of rotten ones.

I'm having the bestest Christmas in like a decade. No one who is gettign stressed out in the house, only a few family to get a card for, just kicking back and relaxing in true Cat style. And after this year when business went on a roll and I finally became full time employed in it, I reckon I deserve some chill time. And I am chilling with the most ferocity that someone can chill out. The calm before the storm of next year, which is already shaping to be insane.

Bring it on!

I feel my blood pressure drop as I type and I for one absolutly love it. First time in many years I can genuinely say that.

Stop bragging :p. Between my sister's birthday, finals, her wedding and Christmas, I've barely had time to really breathe. Got the last of my shopping done today.. fortunately, my family is easy to shop for. Heck, I got Potato Heads for my 22-year-old sister. Gotta have a sense of humour around here.

I finished up a few days ago and I regret ever going into a mall. I was mobbed by some russian girl trying to sell a nail treatment kit to me so I could give it to Christin and before I had a chance to say Dasvidanya, she had buffed my nails to a high gloss sheen and smeared some sort of herbal oil on my cuticles. I felt so violated :(

I got everything done early. Now I am working on a joke gift for my brother (he's been annoying, so, we're going to hide his gift and give it to him after the joke one -- a ticket to go mountaineering with me, haha).

I burned my finger, though. The power went out and my mom lit a lamp. I burned my ring finger on my right hand when I touched the glass part of it :( Ouchies.

I <3 Xmas! Big Fat Greek Family!

o.O I always finish early. I finished extremely early this year. I got the kids done two months ago. But sometimes I randomly find a few other things along the way that weren't on the list and add it on anyways. Got my hubby done a month ago. I got my parents something two weeks ago cuz I didn't know for sure they'd be coming or not.

EDIT: Byl, if she took your hand without your permission you can report her to the mall office. We have that same place at our mall and they've been kicked out several times. SOmeone had a serious allergic reaction when the girl did that to them and their hand swelled up ten times it's normal size. The unsuspecting customer knew she was allergic and wasn't given a chance to say "no" at all. I've reported them a lot myself because they are rude too. I'll tell them no, and I'll walk by several times and they'll keep bothering me and chase me down.

Honestly its not a big deal. She was very Russian and english was a bit tough for her to come by, so I shrugged it off as extremely weird and nothing more.

They're rude here so I get real tense when I hear about them. lol Hate 'em!!! ARGH!!!! And they put them outside of the video game store too! >.< Trying to go there to look at the new PS2 games or used games is like mission impossible when avoiding them. I usually hide behind the cell hone kiosk next to them then make a run for it when they aren't looking. o.O

I finished my shopping on the 15th. Had to make one trip...to the beer store. I almost slipped on some ice and dropped the case on the street, but I'm sure it'll be appreciated :lol

I had most of my gifts bought/made way before, because I hate crowds and this year would probably tell many of my fellow shoppers where to go. I already have Zekes' gift for next year all wrapped and ready to be mailed ^_^;
