I'm in Nevada right now, and won't be back home until the 30th, so my posting is going to be rather sporadic at best. Also, I can't promise that anything I post is going to be done sober, as my mother loves to liquor me up. Poor me, eh ;)

I wouldn't even know what to do with alcohol if it were presented to me. Given certain aspects of who I am, a sense of proportion and limits is not always my best suit, so I tend to avoid such potential hazards, which I guess makes me a bit of a what's the word "cold fish"? at parties. ;) Aside from the few usual bevy of deep deep DEEP scarring traumatic childhood moments that I could possibly use as an excuse to indulge, I was really rather overprotected as a kid for the most part and not too observant of such things until later.

There are some blackouts in my memory from 13 - 13 1/2, however which I think could suffice in a pinch.

Hmmmm..Maybe if the drink was fruity and had one of those pretty little umbrellas.

You could always blame it on the cold, I guess....

Alcohol is fun though; you just have to know how to consume it and when to stop.

I'm not big on getting massively puking drunk, but I do very much enjoy getting a strong buzz and maintaining it. Just loopy enough to do stupid crap, but not so loopy as to make an idiot out of myself too much (I do that sober well enough).

It's not all drinking here though; I've got a honey-do list so I'll be able to stay busy :)

I have to stay as hydrated as possible the week before my summit trip. That entails drinking a TON of water while on the airplane... yay bathroom breaks!

At least X-mas is far enough away from my summit attempt to allow me to get the buzz working :)

Ok well, I don't have any drunk pictures yet, but I do have a few of the mountains and whatnot. Gotta wait until the little sister gets home so she can help me put the pictures onto the comp, though.

It's been awesome so far; I've not done a thing except drink, sleep, a few light chores, and relax :D

Great mountains! I wonder how tall they are and if the conditions are good for skiing in the winter. There is some snow, but it seems a bit scattered.

From where I was when taking those pictures, it's about an hour and a half drive to Lake Tahoe, so yeah; lots of skiing :D

We've got access to a lot of resorts around the Tahoe and Reno areas, plus if you're feeling adventurous you can take a drive to Mammoth Mountain or June Mountain.

It's actually snowing right now on the valley floor, which is fantastic since I've not seen snow in at least two years. It's not sticking very well, but that's just fine with me; it's windy as all get out, I've got the fire going, and a gin and tonic :D.

Even a few Happy Little Trees. ;)

And who says dogs don't feel. :mneh If you where in his place and you had that big, infrared range-finding glass eye beaming down on you like Sauron on a mission, wouldn't you be hiding your tail between your legs? :eek
